Frequently Asked Questions - GR-7010 Ravanson

How do I use the Ravanson GR-7010 waffle maker for the first time?
Before first use, wipe the plates with a damp cloth and dry. Preheat the waffle maker until the ready light indicates it's hot. Lightly grease the plates, pour batter, close the lid, and cook until golden brown.
Can I adjust the temperature on this waffle maker?
Yes, the GR-7010 has an adjustable thermostat. Turn the dial to your preferred setting: lower for lighter waffles, higher for darker, crispier results.
How do I clean the waffle maker?
Unplug and let cool completely. Wipe the plates with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water. A gentle brush can remove stuck bits.
What type of batter works best?
Standard waffle batter works well. Avoid overfilling; about 1/2 cup per side is sufficient. The non-stick plates don't require much oil, but a light spray helps.
Does the waffle maker have an automatic shut-off?
Yes, it features automatic shut-off and overheat protection for safety. The device turns off after a set time of inactivity.
How do I store the waffle maker?
Allow to cool completely, wrap the cord around the base, and store upright in a dry place. The cool-touch handle ensures safe handling.
What are the dimensions of the GR-7010?
Approximate dimensions are 25 x 20 x 10 cm, making it compact for countertop storage.
Can I replace the non-stick plates?
The plates are not user-replaceable. If the coating wears, please contact Ravanson customer service for repair or replacement options.
Why is the ready light not turning on?
Check that the unit is plugged in and the power switch is on. If the light still doesn't come on, the thermostat may have tripped. Allow it to cool and try again. Persistent issues may require service.
Is the Ravanson GR-7010 dishwasher safe?
No, do not put any part of the waffle maker in the dishwasher. Only wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
