This appliance is not intended for use by children under the age of 8 or other persons, without assistance or supervision, if their physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely or by persons without experience and knowledge on the use thereof. People using this product must understand the risks related to the use of the appliance. Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy. Cleaning and maintenance by children without supervision is not allowed.
Children are not aware of dangers that may arise during the use of electric devices.
Keep the appliance and corresponding cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord.
- Damaged power cord must be replaced by manufacturer, authorized service centre or other qualified persons in order to avoid risk.
- Do not allow the power cord to touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.
- The plug must fit the socket.
- The plug must not be modified in any way.
- Avoid rain or moisture when using the appliance.
- For cleaning the appliance use a soft and damp (not wet) cloth and a delicate cleaning agent. For cleaning surfaces in contact with food use a cleaning agent provided for such surfaces. - The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher when the appliance is working. Do not touch the heated surface of waffle iron. Always use the handle for lifting the waffle iron.

Purpose and use:
- The waffle iron is provided for use in home and similar conditions.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Attention! Make sure that the power source to which the appliance is to be connected is accordant with the parameters specified on the rating plate.
/he Waffle iron is manufactured in the first protection class, which means that it should be plugged into a socket with an earthing prong.
A//EN/7ON! Before first use of the appliance clean and then precisely dry all surfaces contacting food.
Do not immerse in water
Place the appliance on a flat surface resistant to high temperatures. 7fter turning the regulating knob the appliance immediately starts operating, which is marked with the lighting of the "POWER" diode. During first operation set the regulating knob to "M7X" / "Dark".
A//EN/7ON! During the first actuation the appliance may emit unpleasant smells and a delicate smoke for several minutes.
If this state does not subside after some time, turn the appliance off.
7fter reaching an appropriate temperature the thermostat will turn the heater off.
Use:
- Before each actuation of the appliance check its status in scope of mechanical damage and check whether the power cord is not damaged.
- Turn the knob from the "0" position to a selected value between "MIN" and "M7X" (Dark). The control diode "RE7DY" will turn on and will keep glowing until the thermostat reaches the set temperature. The control diode signals the operation of the heating element. The thermostat will maintain the user selected temperature cyclically actuating and turning off the heating element. The "LIGHT" position signifies a setting of intermediate temperature between the highest and the lowest values.
Attention! Do not use sharp metal kitchen utensils. /his may lead to damaging the plate.
First actuation
- Plug the waffle iron to the power source
- Set the thermostat to the maximum value
- Cover the heating plates with vegetable oil.
- Close the cover and leave the appliance turned on for 30 minutes
- Pour the dough in and prepare the waffles.
- 7fter preparing the first two waffles dispose of them, turn the appliance off, leave until the temperature falls and clean it.
- Next, the appliance may be again plugged in to the power source, greased with oil and used for making waffles.
• Before pouring in the dough wait around 15 minutes - time for preliminary heating of the plates.
- Bake waffles around 2-3 minutes in a temperature of around 220^ . Check the quality of the first waffles in order to possibly introduce changes of temperature and time settings.
A//EN/7ON Do not remove waffles from the waffle iron with your bare hands. In order to do it use a fork or a spatula, taking care to avoid damaging the surface of the heating plates.
7fter finishing the preparation of the waffles the set the appliance's thermostat in the maximum position in order to burn out the remaining dough. Leave the appliance to cool and clean it.
WARN7NG! Accessible surfaces may become hot during use. Do not touch.
Cleaning and care
Clean the appliance after each use.

Disconnect from the mains and contact authorized service centre for possible repair.
/transportation and storage
Before putting the device away, wait until it cools down. Keep and store in a package protecting from humidity and mechanical damages. Keep away from children.
