Congratulations on your choice of our appliance, and welcome among the users of Zelmer products.
In order to achieve best possible results we recommend using exclusively original Zelmer accessories. They have been specially designed for this product.
Please read this instruction manual carefully. Pay special attention to important safety instructions. Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
Appliance features
Taste fresh juices whenever you like.
CP2100 is an appliance designed for squeezing the juice out of citrus fruits. Thanks to Zelmer citrus press you will easily prepare orange, lemon or grapefruit juice which is fresh and full of vitamins. The appliance comes with two different size cones suitable for juicing various size of fruit.
The Zelmer citrus press is not only about the delicious juice. It is also an elegant kitchen appliance you will be proud of. An elegant steel housing will fit in every interior and a practical dust cover will ensure the appliance is always clean and ready to use. The cones can be easily stored in the cone storage compartment.
All parts having contact with processed products are made of food grade materials.

Safety precautions
Before starting to use the appliance you should become familiar with the whole content of this user manual.

DANGER! / WARNING!
Health hazard
- Do not plug the appliance when your hands are wet.
- Do not operate the appliance when the power cord is damaged or the housing shows visible damage.
- If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the producer or at a proper service point or by a qualified person in order to avoid any hazards.
The appliance can only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
Improper servicing may cause a serious hazard to the user. In case of defects please contact a qualified service center.
- Turn the appliance off and unplug it before replacing accessories or approaching movable parts.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or clearing.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Take special care when operating the appliance in the presence of children.
- Do not leave the plugged-in appliance unattended.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.

CAUTION!
Not observance can result in damage to possessions
Do not carry the appliance while in use.
Do not disconnect the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.
Do not disconnect the plug from the socket when the appliance is in use.
Connect the appliance to the mains socket (alternating current only) with the voltage conforming to that given on the rating plate of the appliance.
Do not expose the appliance to temperatures above 60^ C.
Do not place the appliance on a wet surface.
Do not immerse the appliance power base in water and do not wash it under running water.
Always place the appliance on a stable, even and flat surface; the power cord may not hang over the edge of the surface on which the appliance is placed.

GESTION
Information on the product and suggestions for its use
The appliance is intended for domestic use. In case of using it for commercial purposes the warranty conditions will change.
Unplug the appliance after you finish using it.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents in the form of emulsions, creams, pastes, etc. for cleaning the appliance housing. They may remove graphical symbols, such as scales, markings, warning signs, etc.

The technical parameters are given on the rating plate of the product.
Maximum time of non-stop operation: 15 seconds.
An interval between repeated operation: 35 minutes (after 10 cycles).
Noise level (LWA): 68 dB(A).

The juicing component consists of two parts (a small and large cone). The large cone can only be used by placing it over the small one.
Preparing the juicer for operation (disassembly)

Before the first use, disassemble the juicer and wash all the parts having contact with the processed product.
① Place the juicer near a mains socket on a hard, clean and dry surface.
② Remove the cover (5) and take out the bowl (2) with the strainer (3).
③ Disconnect the above-mentioned elements.
④ Remove the cone storage compartment cover (c) and take out the juicing component (4).
⑤ Take the juicing component (4) apart.
Wash the disassembled parts (except from the power base and cone storage compartment cover) thoroughly in warm water with an addition of washing-up liquid. After drying them completely, start to assemble the cleaned elements.

not wash the disassembled parts in dishwashers. For washing, use water at the temperature not exceeding max. 60°C.
Preparing the juicer for operation (assembly)

① Insert the bowl (2) into the power base (1) so that the bowl spout (e) will fit in the middle of the slot of the power base (1) and the four recesses in the bottom of the bowl (2) will fit into the four protrusions on the top surface of the power base (1).
② Insert the strainer (3) so that the strainer handle (f) will properly fit onto the bowl (2).
③ Place the juicing component (4) onto the strainer (3) (use the proper size cone depending on the size of fruit to be squeezed).
④ Slide a glass or other container under the bowl spout (e) and set it in the lower position.
Starting and operating the juicer

① Prepare the fruit, cutting them in half.
② Insert the power cord plug of the juicer into the mains socket.
③ Place the fruit with the pulp facing the juicing component
(4) and press it until the juicer starts the juicing process.

After finishing the juicing operation

① Take out the power cord plug from the mains socket.
② Set the spout (e) in the closed position; this will prevent the juice from dripping on the surface outside the glass.
③ Take out the glass with the juice.
Start to disassemble the juicer (see section "Preparing the juicer for operation").
④ Put together the cleaned and dried juicing cones (4) and place them in the storage compartment (b).
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the juicer thoroughly after each use in order to prevent the juice residue from drying up.
Clean the power base with a wet cloth sprinkled with washing-up liquid.

Wash the juicer accessories, such as bowl, strainer and juicing component, in warm water with an addition of washing-up liquid.
After washing them up, dry all the parts thoroughly.
Assemble the juicer (see the section „Preparing the juicer for operation”).
What to do when ...
The juicer does not work:
- Check to make sure that the juicer is connected to the electric outlet.
- Check to make sure that the juicer is properly assembled as described in this user manual.
- Have the juicer checked at the service centre.
Ecology – environment protection
Each user can protect the natural environment. It is neither difficult nor expensive.
In order to do it: put the cardboard packing into recycling paper container; put the polyethylene (PE) bags into container for plastic.
When worn out, dispose the appliance to particular disposal centre, because of the dangerous elements of this appliance, which can be hazardous for natural environment.

Do not dispose the appliance with the municipal waste!
