SAFETY RULES
Before you begin to use the steam cooker, read this operation manual carefully.
- Keep this operation manual as a reference material.
- Use this manual only for its intended purpose as described in the instructions.
- Do not leave the operating device unattended.
- Use only removable parts supplied with the device.
- Before you plug the steam cooker into the mains, make sure voltage specified on the device corresponds to the mains voltage.
- Power cord is equipped with “europlug”; insert it into the socket of reliable grounding type.
- In order to avoid fire risk, do not use adapters when connecting the device to the socket.
- Do not use the steam cooker outdoors.
- Place the device on a flat steady surface.
- Do not use the steam cooker near walls or wall hanging cupboards because output hot steam may damage them.

Before you use the device for the first time, thoroughly wash all parts which will contact with the food products.

Before you switch on the steam cooker, fill the tank with water, otherwise the device may be damaged.
- Before switching on, make sure all removable parts are installed properly.
- Be careful when operating the device: any liquid or condensate is very hot.
- Beware of scalds especially when removing the cover.
- To remove the cover or steam baskets, use the potholders.
- Do not touch the cover and steam baskets while the steam cooker is operating - they are very hot.
- To blow off steam, raise the cover slowly, hold it over the steam basket for drippage.
- If you wish to check food readiness, use the kitchenware with long handle.
- Remember that water in the tank may be hot when all other elements of the steam cooker got cold.
- Do not use the steam cooker when the tray, steam baskets and cover are not in place.
- Do not move the device with hot products inside.
- Use of the steam cooker containers in microwave ovens as well as on electrical and gas ovens is not allowed.
- It is prohibited to leave the device plugged in to the mains unattended.
- Disconnect the device from the mains when it is not used, when removing the cover or placing the steam baskets as well as before cleaning.
- Let the device cool before cleaning as well as before removing/installing of the removable parts.
- To switch off the steam cooker, set the timer to the "OFF" position and then tale the mains plug out of the socket.
- Do not allow the electric cord hangs over a table and watch that it does not touch hot or sharp surfaces.
- Keep the device and power cord away from hot surfaces, heat sources and sharp objects.

- Do not permit children to use the device as a toy.
- Keep the device away from children and people with disabilities. Do not permit them to use the device unattended.
- This device is not intended for use by children and people with disabilities, unless a person responsible for their safety gives them relevant and understandable instructions for safe use of the device and those hazards which may arise in case of its improper use.
- In order to avoid electric shock, do not immerse the device, power cord or mains plug into water and other liquids.
- Do not use the device in case of damage of the power cord, mains plug or any other damages. Do not disassemble or repair the device by yourself. Refer to the authorized service center for repair of the device.
- The device is designed only for household use.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Take out the steam cooker and remove packing material.
- Wash through the steam baskets (3, 4, 5), bowl for rice or soup cooking (2), cover (1) and drip tray (6) using soft washing agent.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the internal surface of water tank (13) with moist rag.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the steam cooker on flat and steady surface.
- Install the heating element ring (7) on the heating element (8) so that the slot on the ring (7) is located below.
- Fill the tank (13) with cold water to the maximum level MAX.

Filling the tank with water may be performed in two ways: through water filling opening (9), or by filling water directly to the tank (13).

If during cooking you find out that quantity of filled water is less than required level, you may refill it through opening (9) and do not remove the steam baskets.
- Use filtered water - it has lowered hardness which allows to reduce the level of scaling on the heating element. Do not fill water above the level MAX.
Warning:
- It is prohibited to add salt, pepper, spices, herbs, wine, sauces or other liquids to water.

Change water before every use of the steam cooker.

Place the drip tray (6) on the water tank (13) and make sure it is installed properly.
- Install one, two or three steam baskets (3, 4, 5) on the drip tray (6).
- Put the cover (1) on the steam basket.
- Insert the plug of power cord into the socket.
- Turn the timer handle (11) clockwise and set the required operation time of the steam cooker, meanwhile the indicator (12) lights on.
- At the end of the set time, the steam cooker switches off automatically, audible signal is heard and the indicator (12) goes off.
- Disconnect the steam cooker from the mains and let the device cool.
ATTENTION!
- Do not touch the cover and steam baskets while the steam cooker is operating - they are very hot.
- To not burn oneself, use the potholders to remove the cover and steam baskets. To blow off steam, raise the cover slowly, hold it over the steam basket for drip-page.
- If you wish to check food readiness, use the kitchenware with long handle.
- Remember that water in the tank may be

hot when all other elements of the steam cooker got cold.
- Do not use the steam cooker when the tray, steam baskets and cover are not in place.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Always use only defrosted products; vegetables, fish and seafood are an exception.
- If you use two or three steam baskets at the same time, put meat, fowl or fish to the lower basket in order that exuding liquid does not get on the products in the another steam basket.
- Add fresh or dried herbs to the drip tray (6) to give the products additional taste.
- Select herbs to your taste: thyme, coriander, basil, dill, curry and tarragon, garlic, caraway, horseradish - these all are only small list of well-known herbs. You may combine herbs in order to give the products new tastes. When using fresh herbs, cut them and increase their total quantity by two-three times (as compared with dried herbs).
EGGS COOKING
Prepare the steam cooker for operation.
- Put eggs in the bowls on the lower steam basket bottom (5) and place the cover (1).
- Switch on the steam cooker by setting the timer handle (11) to the required operation time.
RICE COOKING
Prepare the steam cooker for operation.
- Place the bowl for rice cooking (2) into the steam basket.
- Fill the bowl (2) with one cup of rice and 1 1/2 cup of water. Maximum quantity of rice must not exceed 250 g.
- Close the steam basket with cover (1).
- Switch on the steam cooker by setting the timer handle (11) to the required operation time.
WATER REFILLING DURING COOKING
For dishes with long cooking time:
- Control the water level during cooking.
- If necessary, refill water through water filling opening (9) not removing the steam baskets.
HELPFUL ADVICES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
- The cooking time specified in the table shall be considered only as recommended one, it may differ because of sizes of pieces, quantity of products and personal taste. As the steam cooker operation is mastered, you may select the required cooking time by yourself.
- One layer of products is cooked faster than several layers, that is why it is required to increase the cooking time according to volume of products.
- In order to achieve the best results, make sure that pieces of the products are of the same size, place thicker pieces closer to the steam basket edges.
- Do not fill the steam basket completely, leave space for steam passage.
- When cooking large volume of products, it is required to mix them from time to time. By this, take great care, use the potholders for protection of hands from hot steam and kitchenware with long handles.
- Do not put salt or spices directly on the products during cooking.
- Liquid accumulated in the trip (6) perfectly goes for cooking of soups or may be used as broth. But take care: it is very hot.
- Use only completely defrosted products.
When using three steam baskets at the same time:
- Always put the largest pieces of the products to the lower basket.
- Condensate forming in the upper steam baskets will trickle down to the lower basket, that is why check compatibility of tastes of the prepared products.

- When cooking meat, chicken and vegetables, always place meat to the lower basket in order that juice of fresh meat does not get on vegetables.
- The cooking time in the upper basket is usually 5 minutes longer.
- When you cook the products with different cooking time, place the product which are cooked longer to the lower basket.
- When the products in the upper basket are ready, you may remove this basket, close the lower basket with cover and continue cooking.
CLEANING OF THE STEAM COOKER
- Before cleaning, switch off the steam cooker, disconnect it from the mains and let it completely cool.
- It is prohibited to immerse the power cord, mains plug and the steam cooker body into water.
- During cleaning of the steam baskets, tray, upper cover and the body, do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
- It is recommended to wash the steam baskets, bowl for rice cooking, tray and cover in warm water with dishwashing detergent. Do not wash the removable parts in the dishwashing machine.
- Wipe the steam cooker body with moist rag.
- Wash the steam baskets regularly.
DESCALING
During operation of the steam cooker, there may be scale on the heating element. This is a natural process which depends on hardness of water used. For normal operation of the steam cooker, it is required to remove scale from the heating element regularly.
- Fill the water tank with vinegar solution in proportion of 1 part of vinegar to 3 parts of water to the level MAX.
IMPORTANT: do not use chemicals for scale removal.
- Place the tray (6), one steam basket, close it with cover (1) and switch on the steam cooker for 5-10 minutes.
- At the end of the timer operation, disconnect the steam cooker from the mains and let it completely cool before pouring out vinegar solution.
- Wash the tank with cold water, refill it with water again, place the tray (6), one steam basket, close it with cover (1) and set the timer for 5 minutes.
- Switch off the steam cooker, let it completely cool, drain water, dry the tray, steam basket and cover and take the device away for further use.
STORAGE
- For convenience at storage of the steam cooker, place the baskets one into another, put the bowl for rice cooking (2) into them and close with cover (1).
Store the steam cooker in a dry and cool place away from children.
COOKING TIME AND RECIPES
- Cooking time depends on the volume of the products, free space in the basket, their freshness and your taste.
- Cooking time is specified with a view to the lower basket, the products are prepared longer in the upper basket approximately on 5 minutes.
- In case of bigger or smaller volume of the products, increase or reduce cooking time respectively.
VEGETABLES
- Cut off thick stems of cabbage or thick flower-bearing stems of cauliflower.
- Cook green leafy vegetables during maximum short time - they are losing their color fast.
- Add salt and species after cooking.
- It is unnecessary to defrost frozen vegetables before cooking in the steam cooker.

MEAT AND CHICKEN
- The advantage of steam cooking is in fat melting and collecting in the drip tray. But it is preferable to remove the extra fat prior to cooking. Grill meat is perfect for steam cooking.
- Marinate or cover meat or chicken with sauce meat or chicken before cooking.
- Check the readiness of the food by piercing them.
- Use fresh or dry herbs while cooking to add some taste.

- Frozen fish and seafood can be cooked without defrosting; you just need more time to cook these products.
