SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
-
The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
-
Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exist if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

The heater grille prevents direct access to the heating elements and has to be in place when the heater is being used.
-
The heater grille does not provide full protection for small children and infirm persons.

Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
-
Children under the age of 3 should be kept away or supervised at all times.

Children between 3 and 8 years of age may only switch the device on and off if it is placed and installed in normal position as per its intended use, under supervision only and in a safe way as per the manual and provided they understand the hazards related to the device. Children between 3 and 8 years of age must not unplug, adjust, clean, or service the device.

This device may be used by children above the age of 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacity or persons inexperienced or unacquainted with the device under supervision only or in a safe way as per the manual and provided they understand the hazards related to the device. Children must
not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children.

WARNING: Some parts of the product may be very hot and cause burns. Pay particular attention to children and sensitive person.

WARNING: The device cannot be covered. It may result in overheating or fire.

Always inspect power cord, and do not operate heater with a damaged cord or plug. If the power cord becomes damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, in a specialist repair workshop, or by a qualified person in order to prevent any hazards.

Disconnect the unit from the mains when you don't use it. Do not leave it with the switch off and/or with thermostat set to minimum when you don't use it.

Use the device at a safe distance from inflammable materials such as: curtains, paper, bedding, wooden or plastic elements, etc.

Do not cover or obstruct top and bottom air vents of the heater, otherwise will cause the heater overheating, to warn this, a phrase "Do not cover" and its symbol have been print near the top air vents of the heater.

Always switch off the device when you don't use it. While removing the plug from the socket do not pull by the power cord.

Do not allow children or animals to play around the device. Touching the outlet grate may result in burns.

Do not use it in the rooms where gas or other volatile or inflammable substances can occur.

The device should be cleaned with a dry or slightly wet cloth. During cleaning the device cannot be connected to the mains.

Before starting any maintenance or repair work always disconnect the device from the power source. In addition, do not forget to let the device cool down.
-
Do not use the device in dusty rooms.
-
Store it in a clean and dry place.

Transport in the original packaging. Protect against dust, humidity, and mechanical damage.

The device is designed for indoor use only. It cannot be used or stored in places exposed to weather factors.
- Its place of operation should provide stability. The power cord cannot run in the vicinity of hot air outlets. It cannot be bent or crushed or run in the neighborhood of sharp edges.
- Do not insert any objects into the opening of the device's body.
- Despite proper use of the device and following all safety guidelines, some specific residual risks cannot be completely eliminated.
- It must be possible to unplug the device after it is installed; access to the plug must be provided.
- WARNING: Before switching the device on, make sure that the power characteristics comply with the parameters on the nameplate. This heater is equipped with a grounded type plug and must be plugged into a grounded type outlet. This is a safety feature: DO NOT REPLACE THIS PLUG!
- NOTE! The device is not designed to work with external timers or a separate remote control system.
- It is recommended to connect the device to the power supply network equipped with a residual current device (RCD) with a switch-off current of 30mA or less.
PURPOSE
The device is intended for use in domestic or similar environments, such as:
- offices and other working environments
- use by clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments
OPERATION
ATTENTION! Make sure that the power source to which the appliance is to be connected is accordant with the parameters specified on the rating plate.
It is normal for the heater to emit some odor when it is turned on for the first time, or after having not been used for a long period of time. A burning smell may be produced by the dust on the heating element. This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.
Always remember to keep a safety distance (minimum 100 cm) from walls or other objects. Airflow cannot be blocked!
- Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety instructions above.
- Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable outlet (220-240V).
- Turn the thermostat control hand-wheel clockwise to maximum.
- To set heating to minimum turn the hand-wheel (clockwise) to position I (1000W).
- To set heating to maximum turn the hand-wheel to position II (2000W).
- To set the fan functions set the hand-wheel to position
- To switch the device off, turn the control hand-wheel (counterclockwise) to position

THERMOSTAT CONTROL (option)
The device features a thermostat. The thermostat knob can be used to set the desired temperature. When the temperature is high enough, the device is turned off. When the temperature drops below the set point, the fan heater is turned on.
Setting the desired temperature
After switching the device on, set the thermostat knob to the maximum position (maximum temperature). After the temperature reaches a satisfactory level (thermal comfort) slowly turn the thermostat knob lowering the temperature setting until the fan heater is turned off. Keep the knob in this position. When the temperature drops, the device is turned on and emits heat until the set temperature is reached.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION
This device is equipped with fuse preventing overheating.
WARNING!
In the event that the thermal fuse is automatically engaged and the device is turned off due to the danger of overheating, it is necessary to disconnect the power cord from power source and to wait approx. 15 minutes until the device cools down. Only then will it be possible to turn it on again.
NOTE!
If you are not able to reach the desired temperature in room, it is necessary to use next device.
DO NOT:
• Install the device near furniture, curtains, below shelves, inside walls.
• Cover the device when it is turned on
FAILURES
If any damage is disclosed after purchase, contact the seller.
Follow the rules in this manual.
Do not modify the product.
When the device does not work, unplug it. Check if there is power in the socket the device is connected to.
If power was not disrupted, do not attempt to repair the device on your own. Contact manufacturer's authorized service centre.

All devices undergo a thorough post production control. If you still find any fault, you can ask technical service for help.
Before you talk to technical service, check if:
• There is power in the wall socket.
- You followed this manual when turning the device on.
CLEANING THE HEATER AND MAINTENANCE
• Always un-plug the heater from the outlet.
- Allow it to cool down before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a dry or slightly wet cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater. Do not submerge in water!
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
- When the heater is not used for long periods of time, it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean, dry place.
- Store out of reach of children. Protect against dust, humidity, and mechanical damage.
- Transport in the original packaging. Protect against dust, humidity, and mechanical damage.
• Always let the device cool down prior to storage or transport.
