1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.
1.5. General Precautions

- Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized professionals.
- Any damage caused by manual modifications to the product is not covered by the warranty.
- If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally intended, or if it is not correctly connected, the product may become damaged and the warranty will be voided. In certain circumstances, electrical appliances may present hazards.
- Do not check the status of the filters while the cooker hood is operating.
- Do not touch the light bulbs after using the appliance.
- Do not disconnect the appliance with wet hands and without pulling the power cord.
- Flame cooking is prohibited underneath the cooker hood.

- Avoid free flame, as it damages the filters and can cause a fire hazard.
- Constantly check the food while frying, as the overheated oil may become a fire hazard.
- Disconnect the electrical plug prior to any maintenance.
- Children don't recognize the risks of electrical appliance. Therefore, use or keep the appliance only under supervision of adults and out of the reach from children.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service engineer in order to avoid a hazard.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance has been designed for use in the ducting version (external exhaust) or in the filtering version (interior air circulation).
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
A) Take care when the cooker hood is operating simultaneously with an open fireplace or burner that depend on the air from the environment and are supplied by other than electrical energy, as the cooker hood removes the air from the environment which a burner or fireplace need for combustion.
B) Provide adequate ventilation in the environment for a safe operation for the cooker hood.
C) Follow the local laws applicable for external air evacuation.
D) The appliance should only be used with the rated voltage and frequency.
E) There is a risk of fire if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instruction.
2.1. Product Description
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Method one:
- The cooker hoods should be placed at a distance of 65-75 cm from the cooking surface for best effect.
- To install onto the wall drill 4 holes of ∅8 mm on a suitable place according with the centre distance of the hole in the back of the cooker hood.
- Insert the nut into the holes.

- Insert the screws into the nuts and tighten them.
- Put up the cooker hood onto the fixed screws.

- Fix the hood onto the wall, as shown in the method of image B.
- Put the one-way valve onto the cooker hood.
Method two:
- Drill 6 holes of 4 mm in diameter at the bottom of the hanging cupboard.
- Place the one-way valve on the cooker hood, install the cooker hood on the bottom of the cupboard, and then tighten the hood with the 6 screws included.
• Install the adjusted board on the bottom of the hood in order to close the gap between the back of the hood and the cupboard.

2.2. Using the Product
Rocker Switch
- Connect the power plug to the outlet.
- Push the switch ① to “☐”, the lamp will turn on; push to “O”, the lamp will turn off.
- Push the switch ② to “I、II”, the motor will be on “low or high” speeds, push to “O”, the motor will switch off.
- The cooker hood will be working at low or high speed when you pull out the front panel.

2.3. Maintenance
- It is recommended to operate the appliance prior to cooking.
- There should be adequate ventilation in the room when the cooker hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room.

- It is recommended to leave the appliance in operation for 15 minutes after cooking is terminated, to eliminate cooking vapours and odours.
- Turn the appliance off is it is not being used.
- Do not allow flames under the cooker hood.
- Do not use the appliance especially if the supply cord is damaged.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not immerse the appliance in liquid.
- The exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from appliances that burn gas or other fuels.
- Regulations concerning air emissions must be complied with.
- Details concerning the cleaning method and frequency.
- To prevent a fire hazard, it is recommendable to clean the filter at least every 2 months by carrying out the following instructions:
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning, then remove the filters from the cooker hood and wash them in a solution of water and neutral liquid detergent, leaving them to soak.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water and leave to dry.
- The filters may also be washed in the dishwasher.
- The aluminium panels may change their colour after several washes.

This is not cause for customer complaint nor replacement of the panels.

Air filter
- Clean the surface of the cooker hood regularly, using a damp cloth with denatured alcohol or a nonabrasive liquid detergent. (Remark: Do not clean the motor and the inside parts).
- Replace the filters approximately every 4 months.
- There is a risk of fire if the cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instruction.
Changing the lights:
Warning: The LED light should be replaced by a competent person! If the LED light is damaged, contact the Customer Support Service for assistance.
Use the screwdriver loosen the ST4*8MM self tapping screw (2pcs) from the lighting panel, take out the lighting fixture. Open the terminal box that connected with the wire, disconnect the wire connector and replace the lamp.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
