  • It is necessary to check, if total current consumption of all devices plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the fuse in the circuit.
  • If you are using an extension cord, make sure that the total power consumption of the equipment plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the extension cord power rating. Extension cords should be arranged in such a way as to avoid tripping hazards. Do not let cord hang over edge of counter, or touch any hot surface.

OPERATION

Prepare the products for drying. They should be of good quality, cleaned, without signs of deterioration or mould. Cut them into smaller pieces so that their fragments are not thicker than 5 mm. Wipe the trays with a damp cloth; make sure they are clean. Spread the products to be dried on the trays so that they do not occupy more than 34 of the surface area, leaving space between the elements and ensuring free air flow.

CONTROL:

- Press the power button to turn the appliance on or off

NOTE: after turning off the appliance, the fan will run for some time to cool its components down. Do not disconnect the appliance from the power source until the fan is turned off.

- Press the setting mode button to change the drying temperature. The display will show the expected temperature. The display will start flashing. It is possible to change the expected temperature with the + and - buttons while the display flashes.

- Press the setting mode button to set the timer. The display will show the time after which the appliance will turn off (hours: minutes). The display will start flashing. While the display flashes, use the + and – buttons to change the setting of the timer.

NOTE: each press of the setting mode button alternates between the possibility to change the desired temperature and the timer settings.

- When the set time has elapsed, the timer will turn the appliance off.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Since the temperature on the lowest trays is the highest, and those above them have a lower temperature, it is recommended to change the position of the trays during drying.
  • If the drying process takes a few days, check the condition of the dried products, and if any spoilage or mould is observed – remove these products.
  • To assess the condition of the dried products, remove a sample of the product and allow it to cool down. Warm products seem to be moister.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Wipe the ventilation and heating base with a slightly damp cloth. Then wipe dry. Do not immerse in water. Make sure that water and moisture do not get inside the appliance.

Clean the trays and the cover in water with washing-up liquid. Rinse thoroughly. It is not recommended to clean these elements in a dishwasher (plastic may become dull).
