Frequently Asked Questions - HBX1000XE GORENJE

How do I assemble the blender?
Place the jug on the base, ensure the motor coupling aligns. Attach the lid and press down until it clicks. Do not operate without the lid securely locked.
What is the maximum capacity for blending hot liquids?
When blending hot liquids, do not exceed 1.0 L to avoid pressure buildup. Always start at low speed and use the lid vent.
Can I crush ice with this blender?
Yes, use the pulse function for ice crushing. Add only a few ice cubes at a time and pulse for short intervals.
How do I clean the blender?
For quick cleaning, fill the jug halfway with warm water and a drop of dish soap, then run on low for 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly. The jug is dishwasher safe but the blade assembly should be hand washed.
Why is the blender not starting?
Check that the jug is properly locked onto the base and the lid is closed. Ensure the power cord is plugged in and the outlet works. The safety interlock prevents operation if not assembled correctly.
What does the pulse function do?
The pulse function provides short bursts of high speed for precise control, ideal for chopping, crushing, or quick mixing. Press and hold the pulse button as needed.
Can I blend dry ingredients?
This blender is designed for wet blending. For dry ingredients like nuts or spices, use small quantities and add liquid or use the pulse function. Avoid blending large amounts of dry material alone.
How do I replace the blades?
Do not attempt to replace blades yourself; they are sharp and require disassembly. Contact authorized service for blade replacement. Only use genuine Gorenje parts.
What is the warranty period?
Typically, Gorenje offers a 2-year warranty for household blenders. Check your purchase document or contact support for specific terms.
Where can I find the user manual?
The manual is available for free download on the Gorenje website or via the notice-facile.com page. Enter your model number to get the PDF.
