How do I assemble the MWP-16 fan?

First, remove protective films. Screw the protective nut for the rear guard onto the motor pin, mount the rear guard with handle facing up, and tighten the nut. Install the propeller onto the motor pin and tighten the propeller nut counter-clockwise. Attach the front guard by hooking it to the rear guard, align the fixing holes, lock the hooks, and tighten the fixing bolt and nut. Finally, place the speed controls cover onto the base and secure from underneath with four screws.

How many speed settings does the MWP-16 have?

The fan has 3 speed settings plus an off position. The control knob positions are: '0' for off, '1' for low speed, '2' for medium speed, and '3' for high speed.

How do I activate the oscillation function?

Press the oscillation button located on the motor cover to start automatic side-to-side movement. Press again to stop oscillation.

Can I use the fan in a bathroom or near a window?

No. Do not place the fan near open windows or in high humidity areas like bathrooms, as raindrops or moisture can cause a short circuit and electrical shock. The fan is intended for indoor household use only.

How do I clean the fan?

Always unplug the fan before cleaning. The motor cover, controls cover, and base can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The mesh guards can be brushed to remove dust. For a thorough clean, remove the propeller and wipe it with a damp cloth and detergent.

Read carefully this manual before using the appliance.
- Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children.
Do not hang the power cord over sharp edges and do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
▶ Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use or before cleaning.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, also if the power cord or plug is damaged - return the appliance for repair to an authorized service centre.
To avoid the risk of damage or injury, always use the attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other liquids, keep it dry at all times.

Do not leave the appliance switched on when unattended.
▶ Always switch off the appliance before unplugging it.
Do not place the appliance in vicinity of heat sources.

Do not use the appliance for the purposes different than it was designed for.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Never insert your fingers nor any other items through the guard when the appliance is running.

- Do not place the fan near open windows - raindrops may cause a short circuit and electrical shock! It is advisable not to place fans in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms.

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR OPERATION

ATTENTION! The fan must be placed on a stable, flat and dry surface!

1. Remove the protective films from the fan.
2. Unscrew the protective nut of the rear mesh guard ⑨ which is located on a motor pin.
3. Mount the rear mesh guard ⑧ with the handle facing upwards onto the motor pin and tighten the protective nut ⑨, making sure all elements are properly installed.
4. Carefully install the propeller ③ onto the motor pin and tighten the propeller protective nut ② counter-clockwise.
5. Mount the front mesh casing of the propeller ① by attaching the hook with the groove to the back mesh casing of the propeller. Make sure that the openings ⑫ for the fixing bolt in the front and back mesh casings of the propeller are positioned opposite each other.
6. Lock the fixing hooks ⑪.
7. Tighten the mesh casings of the propeller together by use of the fixing nut and bolt.

ASSEMBLY OF THE BASE FOR MODELS MWP-16

1. Place the speed controls cover ⑥ onto the base ④.
2. Secure both parts from the bottom using a four screws provided.

ASSEMBLY OF THE BASE FOR MODEL MWP-17

1. Mount the arms of the base ⑭ perpendicularly.
2. Place the head tube ⑮ on the cross shaped base so that the mounting holes line up with the mounting screws.
3. Tighten 4 mounting screws.
4. Unscrew the head adjustment nut ⑦ and place the base cover ④ onto the tube ⑮ with notches facing downwards.
5. Pull out the inner tube ⑮ element and tighten the adjustment nut ⑦.

1. Mount the fan head on the inner tube ⑮ element.
2. Tighten the screw located ⑬ on the controls cover ⑥.

USING THE FAN:

ATTENTION! Before switching on make sure the fan is placed on a flat, stable and dry surface!

1. Plug in the appliance.
2. Set the desired rotation speed using controls: „0“ - switched on, „1“ - speed I, „2“ - speed II, „3“ - speed III.
3. To activate the rotating mechanism, press the rotating operation button ⑩ located on the motor cover.
4. To change the angle of the propeller, and thus the angle of the air stream, simply tilt the fan head by holding the controls cover with the second hand to prevent the fan from overturning.
5. In model MWP-17 the head height can also be adjusted by loosening the head height adjustment nut ⑦, proper positioning of the head and tightening the nut.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power outlet.
2. The motor cover, controls cover, stand and cross of the standing fan, base of the desktop fan, may be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
3. The mesh guards may be occasionally wiped with a brush to remove dust from the holes.
4. After the propeller is unmounted, wipe it with a damp cloth with a detergent.
