  2. Insert the plug into the socket.
  3. Put an appropriate cooking pot or pan on the heating plate of the cooker.
  4. Press the On/Off button and make the following settings:

Setting the power level

Press the function button (2) to select the power level mode. Then use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired power level between 200 W and 1800 W (200 W and 1300 W). The higher the power level, the faster the device heats up, which appreciably reduces the time of preparation.

Setting the temperature

Press the function button (2), to select the temperature setting mode. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired temperature between 60 °C and 240 °C.

Setting the timer

Press the timer button (3). Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired time between 0 and 180 minutes. After the set time has elapsed, the cooker automatically turns off.

Suitable pots and pans

  • This device is suitable for use with cookware made of: magnetizable conductive material (enamel cast iron, stainless steel) with a flat and even bottom and a diameter of between 12 and 30 cm.
  • This device is not suitable for use with the following cookware: Glass, ceramic, aluminium with rounded/convex bottom and a diameter of less than 12 cm or more than 30 cm.

Hints for cooking

The induction hob is ready for cooking nearly immediately. Never place empty pots and pans on the ceramic glass cook top. Place the cookware always in the middle of the induction zone, otherwise the lower part of the pot or pan is heated unevenly and the food may burn.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Before cleaning and servicing the induction hob, unplug it from the power outlet and allow the hob to cool down!
  • Do not let children near the hob until it has cooled down!
  • After cooling down, clean the ceramic glass cook top and the control panel of the hob with a cloth. Use a cloth moistened with dishwasher detergent to clean more soiled areas.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners (such as abrasive sponges or scouring powder).
  • Do not immerse the induction hob and the power cord in water!
  • Keep the top of the hob clean all the time to prevent accumulation of dirt around the fan and its possible failure. Wipe the dust from the area of air circulation openings using cotton buds or a toothbrush with a small amount of non-aggressive cleaning detergent and carefully remove oil stains.
  • Clean carefully the remnants of cleaning agents off the cook top with damp cloth, otherwise they can burn when the hob is turned on.
