How do I fill the water tank?

Open the water tank opening clamp by pulling it towards you, fill with water between the MIN and MAX lines, then close the clamp. Use tap water or a 1:1 mix of tap and purified water if water is hard.

How do I use the vertical steam function?

Set the thermostat to MAX, hold the iron vertically a few inches away from hanging clothes or curtains, and press the steam button. Do not direct steam at people or animals.

How often should I use the self-cleaning function?

It is recommended every 10 hours of use. Turn the thermostat to the Self Clean setting; the appliance will self-clean for 1 minute. Do not iron during this process.

What type of water should I use?

Normal tap water is suitable. If your water is very hard, mix tap water with purified water in a 1:1 ratio to prevent scale buildup.

Why is water leaking from the iron when I press the steam button?

Possible causes: thermostat set too low (below •••), water tank overfilled, or iron not on a flat surface. Adjust thermostat, empty excess water, or place on a level ironing board.

What should I do if no steam comes out?

Check water tank level; fill between MIN and MAX. Also ensure thermostat is set to a high enough setting (wool, cotton, or linen). If still no steam, the appliance may not be fully heated.

Can I leave water in the tank after use?

No, drain the water tank after each use to prevent scale buildup and corrosion. Allow the iron to cool completely before emptying.

How do I clean the soleplate?

Unplug and let the iron cool. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the iron in water.

What safety precautions should I follow?

Unauthorized Use

In cases of unauthorized use specified below, the appliance may be damaged or cause injuries;

This appliance shall not be used by individuals (including children) who have limited physical, cognitive or mental capacity or insufficient experience and/or information unless they are instructed in the ways to use the appliance by their legal guardian and being supervised. The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.

This appliance can be operated by children of 8 years and above, people with limited physical, auditory and cognitive skills or people with lack of experience and knowledge as long as they are under supervision or they are provided instructions regarding the operation of the appliance.

Keep small items of packaging and plastic bags away from children. There is a risk of choke!

In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the appliance.

Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.

The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance. The electrical appliances are not toys for children! Therefore keep the appliance away from the children. - DO NOT use an extension cord with this product unless necessary. If an extension cord is being used, please be sure to use an extension cord that has the same or higher power than this product.

- In order to prevent burns, DO NOT touch hot parts, hot water, or steam.

• Need to be cautious when using this product due to steam extraction.
• Steam Generator Iron produces steam that can cause burns. Use the iron carefully especially, when using the vertical steam function. NEVER spray the steam onto any person or animals.
• If the appliance will be used near children, strict observance is required.
• DO NOT cover the Steam Generator Iron when in use. If it is covered, it can cause fire.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely and empty the water tank before putting aside.
• Do not submerge the device or the network cable in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use the appliance near the sink or in sink.
• DO NOT place your appliance or it's parts near open flame sources, stoves, or other heating devices.
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands.

First Use

Make sure you understand all the components and features of the Veronica Steam Generator Iron. Always remove packaging materials and labels before first use. Some parts of the steam iron are lightly lubricated and therefore some smoke may be released when operating for the first time. This situation will pass after a short time. Remove the protective cover of the base plate and clean the base plate with a soft cloth. The Veronica Steam Generator Iron is designed for use with normal tap water. As minerals and other components in the regions where the water is descaled, which may cause corrosion of the Steam Boiler Iron, It is recommended to mix the tap water and pure water in a ratio of 1:1.

NOTE!

There may be water droplets inside the water tank or around the main body when installing the appliance. This situation is due to the tests carried out after the production of 100% of our appliances. The appliance has never been used; and has been manufactured to serve you for many years.

Filling the Water Tank

Before plugging in the appliance, open the water tank opening clamp by pulling it towards you and fill it with water, and pay attention to the MIN and MAX lines on the water tank. Close the clamp by pushing it forward.

NOTE!

Steam iron is designed for use with tap water, but if your water is very hard, it is recommended to use purified water. The water reservoir must be drained after each use.

Usage

• Place your appliance on a solid table, bench or ironing board.
• Adjust the thermostat control button by turning it according to the suggestions in the table below.

• Bring the On/Off button to (I) position. Steam lamp will light.
• Your iron is ready to use when the iron ready lamp is lit. Steam can exit by pressing the steam button.
• Turn the steam control button to the unlock position for continuous steam. Turn the steam control button back to the lock position in order to cut the steam.

NOTE!

When your appliance is operating, you can add water to the water tank, since the water tank does not contain pressurized water.

Ironing with Vertical Steam

Through this feature, you can remove wrinkles on clothes, beddings or curtains in a similar way to the appliances that iron on hangers. The high steam pressure of your appliance will provide strong steam exit while holding the iron vertically. For best results, use it on delicate or lightweight fabrics. Set the steam to MAX. mark to get maximum level of steam. You can iron steam by spraying a few inches on top of the hanging clothes or curtains.

WARNING!!

Do not directly come in contact with steam coming from the appliance.

Self Cleaning

We recommend you to use the self-cleaning function after every 10 hours of operation. Turn the thermostat control button to the Self Clean setting. Your appliance will self-clean in 1 minute.

WARNING!!

Do not iron while the appliance's self-cleaning function is activated.

After finishing the ironing

Set the thermostat control button to the minimum position. Remove the plug from the outlet. Lay the iron on the back side to the upright position.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before cleaning the steam iron, the plug must be unplugged and it must fully cooled. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents.

Never submerse the iron in water or other liquids.

Fill the water tank with normal tap water, rinse and empty.

Clean the iron base with a damp piece of cloth.

Troubleshooting

Sounds come from the water tank when the appliance is operated.	The appliance may not be heated yet. (sounds are caused by the expansion of the tank)	This is normal. It will stop in a few minutes.

Recycling

If your device comes to an end of its lifetime, cut the power cord to make sure it cannot be used.

Dispose of the appliance according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Dispose the device to the waste baskets designated for electrical waste. The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials. Throw out them in suitable recycling bins.

This appliance is compatible with WEEE directive.

Dispatch

Carry the appliance in the original package or a similar, well-padded package to prevent damage to the appliance. Keep the original package.
