Equipment
Fibreglass matrix carbon
Carbon combined with high-elasticity fibreglass and aluminium form the shaft of this pole, which excellently dampens vibrations.
Elbow, wrist and shoulder joints are relieved (which is especially important for asphalt or intensive training).
Grip
The ergonomic shape provides the hand excellent grip for transfer of force.
Hard metal tip
Extremely durable, set in unbreakable, resilient plastic. For optimum transfer of force and grip on country lanes, in the woods or across terrain.
Asphalt pad
Made of non-slip TPR plastic to protect the metal tip. For hard surfaces such as streets, asphalt or rock. The tip points backwards for pushing.
To switch from the asphalt pad, pull the asphalt pad off the tip and insert it into the asphalt pad holder provided on the middle of the pole.
Note: the asphalt pad must always be attached to the product during transport.
Pole disc
Prevents sinking deep into soft or marshy ground.
Pole length – determine the correct size
The product can be adjusted to six different lengths. The correct length should be calculated by multiplying your height by 0.68. For simplification, you can find sizes in the table.
The result is then rounded up or down to the next available pole length.
Pole length Height
Note: the above values are indicative. A setting between the marked pole lengths is also possible.
Setting the pole length (Fig. B)

Open the locking lever of the height adjustment system and pull out the bottom end of the pole the appropriate amount. When adjusting the pole length, the clamp must be completely open. Finally, close the locking lever again.
Note: always set the upper pole segment in the center of the pole length mark.
Important: do not pull the pole segment out past the 'STOP' mark on the pole
segment. Otherwise it will not be possible to guarantee sufficient stability.
If the locking lever tension is insufficient, tighten the nut on the other side of the locking lever.
Putting on the hand loops
Insert your hand into the hand loops from below and wrap the Velcro around your inner wrist in such a way that you can easily read the letters 'R' and 'L' (Fig. C).
The symbol should be on the inside of your wrist (Figs. C–D).
Note: the 'R' is on the right hand loop and the 'L' is on the left hand loop.

Adjusting the thumb loops and the distance from the pole grip to the palm of the hand
The thumb loop of the hand loop can be variably adjusted. You can also optimally adjust the distance between the grip and the palm of your hand with the thumb loop, according to your needs. The distance should be set so that the pole grip is still in your hand when your hand is open.
-
Remove the hand loop from the hand grip as described in the section 'Quickly removing the hand loop from the hand grip' and take your hand out of the hand loop.
-
Pull the locking pin (1a) out of the hand loop clip (1b) (Fig. G).

- Pull the open end of the band completely out of the clip (1b) (Fig. H).
- Move the locking pin (1a) anywhere along the thumb loop to your desired position by moving the locking forwards or backwards (Fig. H).

Note: to expand the thumb loop and thereby set the distance between the hand loop and the grip, push the locking pin (1a) further towards the open end of the band.
- Thread the open end of the band through the clip (1b) (Fig. I).

- Press the locking pin into the band slot.
- Press the clip into the hand grip.
Important: pay attention to the correct positioning of the clip (Fig. J)!

In Nordic walking, walking is connected with Nordic cross-country skiing (hence Nordic). Movement is supported by pushing the Nordic walking poles against the ground. Chest, shoulder and arm muscles are thereby intensively trained. Nordic walking is easy and quick to learn (Fig. L).
