Frequently Asked Questions - HH 3010 ECG

What is the maximum power output of the ECG HH 3010?
The maximum power output is 3000 W (high setting), with a half-power setting of 1500 W.
Can I use the heater without the fan?
No, the fan is built-in and runs whenever the heater is on. However, you can use the fan without heating by selecting the fan-only function (position 'cooling').
How do I set the desired temperature?
Turn the temperature control dial clockwise to increase the set temperature. The heater will automatically maintain the room temperature by cycling on/off. For faster heating, set to maximum and then adjust down once the desired temperature is reached.
What should I do if the heater shuts off unexpectedly?
This is likely due to the overheating protection. Unplug the heater, wait about 15 minutes for it to cool, then plug it back in. If it happens frequently, ensure the ventilation holes are not covered and the thermostat is set correctly.
Is it safe to leave the heater unattended?
It is not recommended to leave the heater unattended. Always unplug the power cord when not in use. The heater has an overheat protection, but caution is advised.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
No, the heater is not splashproof and should not be used near water (bathtub, shower, pool). Risk of electric shock.
How do I clean the heater?
Unplug and allow to cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
What are the power levels?
Two power levels: half power (1500 W) and high power (3000 W). The fan-only function uses negligible power.
Does the heater have a timer?
No, the ECG HH 3010 does not have a timer. It features a continuous thermostat for temperature control but no programmable timer.
What is the recommended placement?
Place on a flat, stable surface (not on high-pile carpet). Keep at least 1 meter away from walls, furniture, curtains, and other objects. Do not place directly under a power outlet.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Note: When first switched on or switched on after a long period of inactivity, the heaters may emit odor or smoke. This is normal and it will fade away in a short while.

This device uses convection heating technology with temperature control. It is equipped with the function TURBO (use of heating together with a fan) Thermostat control (A) is used to regulate temperature. Turn the power control to set the required level:

Switch the unit on with the B control and select the desired function (fan without heating, low or high power).

To heat the room faster, we recommend setting the thermostat to maximum and the dial to high power. Once you reach the desired temperature, turn the thermostat counter-clockwise until the thermostat shuts off. This sets the temperature that the device will automatically maintain until you switch it off.

Any manipulation of the device can only be performed if it is switched off with the main switch and disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Turning the appliance off

First, set the thermostat control to position „MIN" and switch to position "0". Then always unplug the power cord from the outlet!

Any handling of the device can only be performed if the switches are off and it is disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Protection against overheating

The internal thermal fuse protects the heater from overheating and automatically shuts it off. In this case, the operating indicator turns off.

If the device shuts itself off, disconnect it from the electrical outlet. The device is ready to use again after it cools (in about 15 minutes). Plug the power cable back into the socket.

If the situation repeats, first check that the thermostat controller is set correctly and that the ventilation holes are not covered.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always pull the power cord out of the outlet before cleaning and wait for it to cool down completely. Clean the outer surface of the device with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp or abrasive agents to clean the device, otherwise the surface can become damaged.

You can put the device in storage only after proper switching off the main switch, disconnection from the outlet and after complete cooling.

STORAGE OF THE DEVICE

If you do not plan to use the device for a longer period of time, you should store it in a clean and dry place protected from dust.
