Danger of damage to property
■ Protect the appliance and the 12 V adapter from moisture and damp.
■ Ensure that no foreign bodies are in the appliance.
■ Should liquids or foreign bodies have entered the appliance housing, pull the 12 V adapter instantly. Have the appliance tested before using it again.
- Do not use the appliance, if the appliance or the power cable show any visible damage.
■ Pull the 12 V adaptor out of the socket, if there is a fault or if the ventilator is not in use.
To unplug the 12 V adaptor from the socket, always pull at the adaptor itself and not at the cable.
■ To avoid hazards, do not make any changes of the device.
To avoid any danger, any damaged connective cable of this article may only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similar qualified specialist.
Before connecting the 12 V adapter, start the vehicle. This way you will avoid damage by voltage fluctuation.
■ Attach the ventilator in such a way that it cannot drop. Before affixing it, make sure
the surface is smooth, dry, clean and free of grease.
- Do not stick objects into the turning rotor.
Do not operate the appliance at temperatures below 0 °C or above 50 °C. Please keep in mind that extreme temperatures are possible inside a vehicle during mid summer or in winter.
■ Switch the fan off, before you switch the engine off, or leave the vehicle.

Danger of injuries
■ Do not put fingers into the turning fan.

Danger in traffic
■ Regularly check the tight fit of the suction cap. A fan that drops down can impair the safety in traffic considerably.
■ Ensure that the fan cannot do any damage or hinder the driver if it drops down suddenly (e.g. when braking abruptly).
Fit the fan in such a way that the driver's vision is not impaired. Otherwise there is a danger of accidents.
■ Mount the fan in such a way in the vehicle that it is not in your survival space or in the inflation zone of an airbag.
■ Ensure that neither the fan nor the power cable reach into the steering wheel or hinder the operation of the pedals.
●Mounting
Note: Adhere to the previously mentioned safety notes before mounting the appliance.
Note: Using the suction cap 2, you can fit the fan 1 to all smooth surfaces. You can optimise the adhesion of the suction cup by cleaning the surface where you want to fit it in advance with a suitable cleaner (for instance alcohol).
☐ Press the suction cup firmly onto the surface where you plan it to sit.
☐ Ensure that the suction cup is in place firmly.
☐ To remove the suction cup, press with a hard object (such as a car key) from the side against the suction cup and pull the suction cup off.
Place the power cable in such a way that it cannot hinder anyone while driving or when getting in and out.
Operation
☐ Use the ON / OFF switch 5 to switch the fan 1 on or off.
☐ Start the engine of the vehicle and plug the 12 V adapter into a correctly installed car socket.
ATTENTION! Avoid plugging in and switching on the fan before starting the engine. Voltage fluctuations caused by starting the engine could damage the motor of the fan.
☐ Switch the fan off and unplug the 12 V adapter from the socket, before you switch the engine off, or leave the vehicle.
●Troubleshooting
Should the fan 1 not work, although it is plugged in correctly, checked the fitted fine fuse 8 of the 12 V adapter 4.
☐ Turn the cap 6 of the 12 V adapter off in an anticlockwise direction.
☐ Remove the fine fuse 8 and replace it with a new one according to the specifications in the "Technical Data". Take care that you fit the contact pin 7 correctly after replacing the fine fuse.
- Cleaning and Care
Note: Switch the fan off using the ON / OFF switch 5 and unplug the 12 V adapter 4 from the socket before you clean the fan 1.
☐ Use a dry clean cloth for cleaning.
