- Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- Wipe the motor block clean with a slightly moist cloth.
- Wipe the interior of the freezer bowl clean with a moist cloth.
- Rinse the other components thoroughly in warm water.
- Dry all of the components.
USE
24 HOURS IN ADVANCE: FREEZE BOWL
-
Put the bowl in a freezer bag and close it up to prevent ice formation.
The bowl must be completely dry before you put it in the freezer. -
Put the bowl in the freezer for at least 24 hours (-18°C or colder).
-
Only take the bowl out of the freezer just before churning the ice cream to make sure that the bowl is as cold as possible.
4 HOURS IN ADVANCE: PREPARE THE MIXTURE
-
Prepare the mixture according to the recipe. Up to 2 litre can be made in the ice cream machine per cycle.
-
Put the mixture in the refrigerator for about 4 hours.
CHURNING THE ICE CREAM IN THE ICE CREAM MACHINE
Put the mixture into the machine only when the machine is set up and is on. Otherwise the mixture will freeze to the interior walls of the bowl.
⚠️ Work fast, so that the bowl and the mixture stay as cold as possible.
-
Insert the engine block into the cover until it clicks.
-
Put the connector into the underside of the motor block.
-
Put the mixing arm into the connector.
-
Take the bowl out of the freezer and out of the bag and place it in the bearing ring.
-
Place the bowl with the bearing ring into the container. Make sure the grooves in the ring correspond to the tongues in the housing.
-
Place the cover with the recess in the right place on the ring and click it into place.
-
Put the plug into the outlet and press the power button ☑ on the control panel. By default, an operating time of 40 minutes appears in the display. You can use the arrow keys 🔊 to shorten or lengthen the time: each press of an arrow key decreases or increases the running time by 5 minutes. You can choose a run time from 5 to 45 minutes.
-
After 3 seconds, the device starts running automatically. The remaining running time is shown in the display.
-
Now pour the mixture into the bowl through the fill opening in the cover.
The appliance must be running when you add the mixture! This is to prevent the mixture from immediately freezing to the inner wall of the bowl.
- Run until the ice cream has reached the desired consistency. This takes 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the recipe you chose. If the ice cream is not hard enough after 45 minutes, turn the machine off and put the ice cream in the freezer to let it harden further.
Do not turn the machine off during the churning process.
-
Press the on/off button to stop the machine.
-
Pull the plug from the outlet.
-
Press the release button on the back of the engine block to lift and remove the cover.
-
Remove the bowl from the container using the bearing ring.

Close-up of a kitchen appliance with a mounted control panel and red arrows indicating motion (no text or symbols visible)- Take the ice cream out of the bowl with a rubber spatula or a wooden spoon.
Do not use metal utensils to remove the ice cream from the bowl.
- The ice is ready to eat. If you want it a bit harder, you can put it in the freezer to let it harden.
But in that case, be sure to remove the ice cream from the bowl first.
TIPS
- Store the freezer bowl in the freezer so it is always ready to use. Stick it in a freezer bag and keep it upright at all times.
⚠️ The bowl must be completely dry before you put it in the freezer. - You make the best ice cream with high quality ingredients.
- Fat-rich dairy products (cream, whipping cream, mascarpone, ...) provide a creamy consistency and full flavour.
- When following recipes in which the sugar is not dissolved, use very fine sugar. Sugar makes the ice cream stiffer and also prevents the formation of large ice crystals.
- When using frozen fruit, it is not necessary to first let the fruit thaw. It is easier to purée fruit which is still half frozen.
- Ice cream will stay softer when alcohol is added.
- For an optimal result, it is advised to pre-cool the mixture in advance (min. 4 hours).
- The ice cream made by the machine is soft and spoonable. Serve the ice cream immediately. Then it will taste the best.
- If the ice cream has not set up sufficiently after about 45 minutes, put it in the freezer until it is solid enough.
⚠️ Never freeze ice cream that has been completely or partially thawed.
⚠ Ice cream or sorbet with raw ingredients should be consumed within a week. Ice cream tastes best when it's fresh.
⚠️ Ice cream or sorbet containing raw or partially cooked eggs should not be given to young children, pregnant women, the elderly, or people with compromised health.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Take the mixing arm and the connector off of the motor block.
- Press the release button and remove the engine block from the cover.
- Take hold of the bearing ring, thereby lifting the bowl out of the container.
- Clean the motor block clean with a slightly moist soft cloth.
- Let the bowl warm up to room temperature and wash it in water not warmer than 40^ C with a mild detergent.
⚠️Do not completely submerge the bowl in water.
-
Wash the other components by hand in warm water and a little detergent.
-
Dry all of the components thoroughly.
⚠️Do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
⚠️Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
⚠️ No part of this appliance is dishwasher safe.
