What to do if the control panel is off and the appliance is not working?

First, check that the appliance is not in Standby mode: press the Standby key to activate it. Otherwise, make sure there is no power outage, that the plug is correctly inserted and that the bipolar switch is in the correct position. Also check the home circuit breaker and the condition of the power cord.

The interior light does not turn on, what should I do?

The lighting is an LED. If it does not work, the appliance may be in Standby mode: press the Standby key. If the problem persists, contact authorized After-Sales Service to replace the LED module.

How to activate quick freezing?

Press the Quick freezing key about 24 hours before introducing fresh food. The corresponding indicator lights up. The function stops automatically after 48 hours or can be deactivated manually by pressing the key again.

The audible alarm sounds and the red indicator flashes, what should I do?

It may be an open door alarm (if the door has been open for more than 2 minutes) or a power failure alarm (in case of prolonged outage). Briefly press the Turn off audible alarm key to stop the signal. Check the cause and close the door if necessary.

How to adjust the freezer temperature?

Use the + and - keys on the control panel to select a temperature between -16°C and -24°C. The display shows the set temperature. The recommended setting is -18°C.

What does the 'Freezing control' indicator mean?

It is an advanced function that reduces temperature fluctuations and freezer burn. It activates automatically when the freezer temperature is between -22°C and -24°C. If you change the temperature outside this range, the function deactivates.

How to clean the interior of the refrigerator?

Unplug the appliance. Clean with a cloth soaked in warm water and a mild detergent. Never use abrasive products, alcohol, or steam cleaners. Do not clean the control panel with alcohol; use a dry cloth.

Can the door opening direction be reversed?

Yes, door reversibility is possible. Follow the instructions in the Installation chapter of the manual. Note that if the operation is not carried out by the After-Sales Service, it is not covered by the warranty.

What to do in case of a prolonged power outage?

Keep the doors closed to preserve the cold as long as possible. The power failure alarm may trigger (red flashing light and sound). Press Alarm Stop to stop the sound. Check the food before consuming; do not refreeze partially thawed food.

The appliance makes gurgling or cracking noises, is this normal?

Yes, these noises are normal. The gurgling comes from the refrigerant gas in the circuit, and the cracking is due to temperature changes in the compressor. If the compressor becomes louder, it may be due to a heavy load or high ambient temperature, which is normal.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The drawers, baskets and shelves should be kept in their current position unless otherwise specified in this quick guide. The light system inside the refrigerator compartment uses LEDs, providing better lighting than traditional light bulbs as well as very low energy consumption.

CONTROL PANEL

ON/STAND-BY

To put the product in Stand-by, press and hold the On/Stand By button for 3 seconds. All indicators turn off except the On/Standby indicator. In Stand-by mode, the light in the refrigerator compartment does not turn on. Press again to reactivate the appliance.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY

The display shows the temperature of the freezer. To avoid an increase in food waste, refer to the recommended setting and Storage Time in the User Manual online.

TURNING OFF THE SOUND ALARM

To turn off the sound alarm, briefly press the button.

BLACK OUT ALARM

This alarm is triggered in the event of a prolonged power outage that has caused the temperature inside the freezer compartment to rise. The red indicator light flashes and an acoustic signal is triggered, which will remain active until the door is closed. The freezer compartment temperature indicators may flash. FREEZER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE

To adjust the Freezer Temperature, press + and - buttons. The Freezer Temperature can be adjusted between -16°C and -24°C, as shown by the Freezer Temperature display.

Recommended setting:

Freezer compartment: -18°C

FAST FREEZE

The use of this function is recommended for the optimum freezing of fresh food.

24 hours before freezing fresh food, press the Fast Freeze button to activate the function. When activated, the Fast Freeze indicator turns on. After 24 hours place the fresh food to be frozen in the 3rd shelf from the top.

NOTE

The function is automatically disabled after 48 hours, or can be manually disabled by pressing Fast Freeze button again.

FREEZER CONTROL INDICATOR

CONTROL This is an advanced technology that reduces temperature fluctuations in the product.

Freezer burns are reduced and food preserves its original quality and color.

This function is automatically engaged when the freezer temperature set-point is between -22°C and -24°C.

If the function is engaged and the user modifies the freezer temperature out of the working range, the function is automatically switched off.

OPERATION

FIRST TIME USE

Wait at least two hours, after the installation, before connecting the appliance to the power supply. Connect the appliance to the power supply it starts the operation automatically. The ideal storage temperatures for the food are preset in the factory.

After turning the appliance on, you must wait for 4-6 hours for the correct storage temperature to be reached for a normally filled appliance. If the audible signal sounds, it means that the temperature alarm has intervened: press the button to switch off the acoustic alarms.

FREEZER COMPARTMENT FOOD STORAGE

The freezer compartment allows long-term storage of frozen food and freezing of fresh food. The quantity of fresh food that can be frozen in 24 hours is indicated on the rating plate. Arrange the fresh food in the freezing area inside the freezer compartment, leaving enough space around the food packages to allow air to circulate freely. It is advisable not to re-freeze food that has partially defrosted. It is important to wrap the food in a way that prevents the ingress of water, humidity, or condensation.

FUNCTIONAL SOUNDS

1. A buzz generated by the compressor is normal while the product is working.
2. Gurgling and crackles are generated by the passage of the refrigerant gas inside the cooling circuit, therefore these are normal noises.
3. It's possible to "hear" creaks when the compressor is active and inactive: it is a normal sound of the product's structure.
4. Check that the balconies on the inside of the refrigerator door, the shelves and the drawers in the refrigerator compartment are attached and positioned properly, to avoid possible vibrations.
5. Don't place glass containers (bottles, jars, etc.) in direct contact with each other, to avoid vibrations.
6. This device is equipped with a compressor that operates at an optimum speed to minimize energy consumption. So it may happen that in certain situations (in summer or if large quantities of food are introduced) that the compressor increases the speed and therefore it is more noisy than usual.

RECOMMENDATION IN CASE OF NO USE OF THE APPLIANCE

In the event of non-use of the appliance

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply, empty it, defrost it (if necessary) and clean it. Keep the doors slightly ajar to let air circulate inside the compartments. By doing this, you avoid the development of mould and bad odours.

In the event of an interruption to the power supply

Keep the doors closed so the food stays cold for as long as possible. Do not re-freeze food that has partially defrosted. If there is a prolonged power cut, the black out alarm may also activate (in products with electronics).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, unplug the appliance from the mains or disconnect the electrical power supply.

Never use abrasives. Never clean freezer parts with flammable fluids.

Do not use steam cleaners.

The buttons and control panel display must not be cleaned with alcohol or alcohol-derived substances, but with a dry cloth.

Clean the appliance occasionally with a cloth and a solution of warm water and neutral cleaning agents specifically for cleaning the inside of the freezer.
