Before You Begin
□ Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
□ Shut off the main water supply.
□ Carefully inspect the waste and supply tubing for any sign of damage.
☐ For new installations, install the faucet and drain to the lavatory before installing the lavatory.
☐ If the water in your area contains high levels of particulates, install a 20 micron water filter in the supply line.
☐ Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

Faucet Undercover Plumbers Putty Lavatory Post Toggle Bar Spacer Nut1. Faucet Installation
□ Clean the lavatory surface to remove any grease, oil or debris.
☐ Install the undercover to the bottom of the faucet body.
□ Apply plumbers putty or other sealant around the underside of the faucet undercover according to the manufacturer's instructions.
☐ Insert the faucet through the lavatory holes.
☐ From under the lavatory, install the toggle bars, spacers (if needed) and nuts to the threaded posts. Hand-tighten the nuts.
☐ Check the faucet alignment and carefully tighten the nuts until secure. Do not wrench tighten.
□ Wipe away any excess sealant.
2. Choose Drain Type
☐ Install the drain at this time according to the instructions packed with the drain.

☐ If the lavatory is not installed, install it at this time using the lavatory manufacturer's instructions. Allow enough space for penetration of supply tubes into the supply stops. Cut the supply tubes if necessary.
NOTE: Do not bend or twist the copper faucet supply tube.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Never operate this faucet without the screen correctly installed in the faucet supply shank.
- Connect the faucet supply shank to the supply line with the nut and tighten securely.
4. Installation Checkout
□ Connect the P-trap.
□ Ensure that all connections are tight.
□ Remove the aerator by turning it counterclockwise.
□ Open the drain.
□ Open the supply line, press down on the faucet handle several times and inspect the faucet for leaks. Repair as needed.
