Before You Begin
□ Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
□ Shut off the main water supply.
□ Inspect the tubing for any sign of damage. Replace if necessary.
☐ If possible, install this faucet before installing the sink.
☐ Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

Attachment Washer Nut Washer1. Install the Faucet Body
NOTE: Handle valves that are marked "Hot" by the red ring on the top of the handle must always be installed into the mounting hole on the left as viewed from the front of the sink.
□ From the bottom of the faucet body, straighten the copper supply tubes.
□ Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the base or escutcheon according to manufacturer's instructions.
□ Slide the tubes through the mounting hole and position the spout.
□ Hold the spout in position.
□ From the underside of the sink, slide the attachment washer, washer and nut up onto the copper supply tubes.
□ Securely tighten the nut with a wrench. Do not overtighten.
□ Remove any excess putty or sealant.

Supply Tube Coupling Nut Ferrule Supply Stop2. Supply Connections
□ Install the sink (if needed) according to sink manufacturer's instructions.
☐ From the underside of the sink, slide one coupling nut, one ferrule and one compression fitting onto each valve supply inlet.
☐ Slide a ferrule and coupling nut over the threads of each compression fitting. Hand tighten the coupling nut.
☐ Slide two coupling nuts and two ferrules onto one copper supply tube.
☐ Insert a copper supply tube into each compression fitting.
☐ Slide the ferrule and the coupling nut over the threads of each compression fitting. Hand tighten the coupling nut.
□ Carefully bend each copper supply tubing to align with the supply stop outlet and then insert it.
☐ Slide the ferrule and coupling nut onto the threads of each supply stop outlet. Hand tighten the coupling nut.
□ Wrench tighten the coupling nuts.

Aerator3. Installation Checkout
□ Ensure that all connections are tight.
□ Remove the aerator (if spout is installed).
□ Open the drain.
□ Turn on the main water supply and check for leaks. Repair as needed.
☐ Open both hot and cold valves and run water through the spout (if installed) for approximately one minute to remove debris. Check for leaks. Turn the valves off.
□ Remove any debris from the aerator and reinstall (if spout is installed).
