PRIOR TO FIRST USE
- Before using for the first time, or after prolonged storage without use, wash any parts that will come into contact with food.
UK
USE
- Place the motor unit (4) on a flat surface and make sure it is standing firmly.
- Fit the blender jug (3) to the drive shaft of the motor unit.
- Lift the lid (2) off the blender jug (may be a bit tight).
- Pour food into the blender jug. Solid food such as fruit and vegetables must be cut into squares no bigger than 15×15 mm. Add 1,5 times as much liquid (e.g. water) as solid foods to make blending easier.
- NOTE! Never add liquid or food above the maximum mark on the blender jug.
- Fit the lid (2) onto the blender jug (3). Ensure the lid is firmly pressed into place.
- Place the measuring cup (1) in the hole in the lid and turn the lid (2) clockwise until it locks into place, and ensure the safety switch engages.
- Place a hand on the lid and switch on the appliance by turning dial (5) to a setting from 1 to 5. The switch setting 1,2,3 provides the relatively low rotating speed intending to cut the relatively soft and less quantity of food stuffs.
- The appliance also has a pulsing option with extra speed. Turn the dial to "P" and hold it briefly in that position.
- You can add more food to the blender jug during operation through the opening in the lid. Always switch off the appliance before removing the cap and adding more food.
- Turn off the appliance by turning the dial to "0" when you have finished
blending. Wait until the blade has come to a complete stop before removing the lid.

- You can clean the blender jug while it is assembled by filling it halfway up with hot water and a little washing-up liquid.

• Take care not to touch the blades at the base of the blender jug during cleaning!
CLEANING

• Always switch the appliance off at the wall socket and unplug before cleaning.
- Clean the motor section by wiping it with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled. Do not immerse the motor unit of the appliance in water and make sure no water gets into the motor unit.
