Frequently Asked Questions - 2317FL Flama

How to turn on the Flama 2317FL heater?
Make sure the thermostat knob is set to maximum, then plug in the device. Turn the Power & Mode knob to the desired position (I = low, II = high) to start heating. To turn it off, set the knob to 0 and unplug.
How to use only the fan without heating?
Turn the Power & Mode knob to the fan position (fan symbol). The thermostat must be set to maximum to avoid accidental shutdown.
How to set the desired temperature?
First heat the room with the thermostat at maximum. When the desired temperature is reached, slowly turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise until you hear a click, then slightly back the other way. The device will turn on and off to maintain that temperature.
Why does the heater turn off by itself?
This is normal if the set temperature is reached: the thermostat cuts off and then turns the heater back on to maintain the temperature. It may also be due to overheating; check that the device is not covered and the air intakes are not blocked.
What safety precautions should be observed?
Never cover the device (risk of overheating). Maintain a distance of at least 50 cm from walls and flammable objects, and 1 m from the air outlet. Do not use near water (bathtub, shower, pool). Keep out of reach of children under 3 years old.
How to clean the fan heater?
Always unplug the device before cleaning. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush to clean the grilles (to remove dust). Wipe the exterior with a damp (not wet) cloth and dry with a soft cloth. Never immerse the device in water and do not use solvents.
What to do if the device no longer works?
First check that the socket works and the cable is properly plugged. Check the thermostat setting. If the problem persists, the thermal protection may have triggered; let it cool down and try again. In case of failure, contact an approved service center.
Can I use an extension cord?
It is not recommended to use an extension cord. If necessary, ensure it is suitable for the device's power (minimum 1.5 kW) and completely unrolled to avoid overheating.
What is the warranty period and how to activate it?
The warranty is 36 months from the date of purchase. To activate it, keep the proof of purchase (invoice) and present it when requesting repair. The warranty does not cover damage due to incorrect use.
Where can I find the full manual?
