How does the touch function of the Motorola Edge 70 camera work?
Frequently Asked Questions - 12/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The Motorola Edge 70 features two main touch functionalities for using the Camera app:

Tap to Focus: Touch any spot on the viewfinder screen to automatically focus at that precise location. This function is ideal for ensuring a sharp image of your subject. After the initial focus, you can also slide the focus slider that appears to manually refine the focus area if necessary.

Tap Anywhere to Capture: This advanced feature allows you to touch anywhere on the viewfinder screen to trigger the capture, without having to use the physical shutter button on the phone. This option is optional and must be enabled in the Camera app settings.

How to access and configure these functions: Open your Camera app and tap the Settings button visible in the viewfinder (usually located at the top right or in a dropdown menu). You will find the option 'Tap anywhere to capture' which allows you to enable or disable this feature according to your preferences. Once enabled, a simple touch on the viewfinder will take a photo at the precise focus point.

These two functions work together: use the first touch to focus (Tap to Focus), then touch again to take the photo if 'Tap Anywhere to Capture' is enabled. If this option is disabled, you will need to use the physical shutter button after focusing. Explore your Camera settings to customize this experience according to your photographic needs.
