Frequently Asked Questions - MD200F-P Vevor

How to install the Vevor MD200F-P electronic drum kit?
Follow the provided installation guide: first assemble the iron stand, then install the drums on the support bars, attach the drum module to the rail, install the striking parts (cymbals, toms, snare) by tightening the screws without over-tightening the cymbals, and finally connect the trigger cables according to the positions.
How to use the built-in metronome?
Press the METRONOME button to enter metronome mode. The screen displays the default speed (120 BPM). Turn the dial or use the +/ buttons to change the tempo. Press CLICK to start/stop. In metronome mode, press SELECT to adjust the beat type (r), time number (b), and volume (L).
How to record a performance?
Press the REC button when the indicator is in KIT or CLICK mode. The screen shows flashing 'REC'. Then hit a drum or start the metronome to begin recording. Press REC or PLAY again to stop. To listen, press ▶|>. The recording is temporarily stored as 'A-1'.
How to connect the drum kit to a computer or smartphone?
Use a USB-B cable (not included) to connect the USB-MIDI port of the sound module to your PC or smartphone. You can then use music software to learn, compose, or record. To synchronize sound, also connect your device's audio output to the module's AUX IN input.
What to do if the bass drum produces no sound?
Check the trigger connection cable: make sure it is fully inserted. If the problem persists, check the switch on the back of the module: set it to A for mechanical bass drum mode or B for pedal mode. If no sound, toggle the switch to test both modes.
How to adjust the sensitivity of a drum?
Press KIT then SELECT to enter drum settings. Strike the drum to adjust, then use the +/ buttons to select the parameter: sensitivity S (01-06), trigger threshold t (01-32), crosstalk threshold c (01-32), repeated trigger r (01-32). Turn the dial to change and long press - to save (display 'SAV').
How to clean and maintain the drum kit?
Use a soft, clean cloth slightly dampened with water or a special electronic cleaner. Never use paint, thinner, or harsh chemicals. Avoid exposure to heat, humidity, and direct sunlight. Handle with care to avoid collisions.
Can I add an extra cymbal?
Yes, the sound module has an expansion port that allows adding an extra cymbal. Simply connect a compatible cymbal to this port to enhance your setup.
How to reset to factory settings?
Press and hold the + button until the screen displays RES. This resets the drum parameters to factory values. Note that the settings for the 3 toms are not individual.
