Frequently Asked Questions - PJV17G Vevor

How long does it take to fully charge the Vevor PJV17G vacuum?
Full charging takes approximately 4.5 hours. The indicator is red during charging and turns green when the battery is full.
What is the runtime of the vacuum after a full charge?
The runtime is approximately 60 minutes of continuous use.
What to do if the vacuum does not turn on or stops quickly?
First check that the battery is charged. If the device turns on but stops after 60 seconds, it may be due to the water level sensor: make sure the switch is submerged in water. Otherwise, clean the filter or check that the impeller is not blocked.
How to clean the vacuum filter?
Press the two side panels of the suction head to remove it, then take out the filter cartridge from the transparent tube. Remove debris and rinse it with clean water. Replace it with the opening facing outward, then reassemble the head.
Can I use the vacuum without a filter?
No, never use the device without a filter. The filter is essential to protect the motor and ensure good suction.
How to maintain the battery if I do not use the vacuum for a long time?
Fully charge the battery before storing it, then recharge it at least every three months to avoid deep discharge that would damage the battery.
Why does the vacuum stop after 60 seconds even in water?
The water level sensor requires that water covers the switch position. If the water does not reach this level, the device stops. Make sure the vacuum is sufficiently submerged.
What types of debris can the vacuum suck up?
It is designed for small particles such as leaves, nuts and debris with size between 120 µm and 1 cm. Not suitable for algae, plankton or very fine sand.
Can I charge the vacuum continuously or should I unplug it after charging?
Unplug the charger once charging is complete (green indicator). Do not leave the vacuum plugged in continuously, and always close the waterproof cap of the charging port after each charge to prevent water ingress.
What to do if suction decreases?
Check and clean the filter, as a clogged filter reduces suction. Also make sure the impeller is not obstructed by debris and that the outlet is submerged.
