How to center the clay on the turntable?

Place your left palm at the eight o'clock position and apply downward oblique pressure with uniform force. Wet your hands to facilitate centering.

How to adjust the wheel speed?

Turn the control knob clockwise to increase speed, counterclockwise to decrease it. The speed ranges from 0 to 330 RPM.

How to change the rotation direction?

Use the forward/reverse switch. Stop the motor first before changing direction to avoid damage.

What to do if the machine does not start?

Check that the power plug is properly inserted and the leakage protector is not tripped. Ensure the switch and pedal are in the off position before powering on.

How to clean the pottery wheel after use?

Wipe clay and water stains on the turntable surface with a cloth. Never rinse the machine with water to avoid damaging the motor, switch, and bearings.

Why does the turntable jump or make noise?

Check that the machine is level and the four feet are adjusted. If the noise persists, ensure the water basin is not in contact with the plate and the fixings are tight.

How to avoid air bubbles in the clay?

Knead the clay properly before using. If bubbles appear, pause the machine, poke the bubbles with a needle, fill the hole with clay, and smooth the surface.

What accessories are included with the wheel?

The kit includes an apron, an 8-piece tool set (cutting wire, sponge, wooden knife, scrapers, needle, etc.) and an 8-piece stamp set for decoration.

What is the maximum clay load?

The maximum payload is 1 kg of clay. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damaging the motor.

How to maintain the machine if it is rarely used?

Run the machine at least once a month to prevent seizing. Regularly check that all fixings are tight.

1. This equipment is only applicable to ceramic drawings and cannot be used for other purposes. Do not use the equipment roughly.

4. Do not change the rotation direction when the motor is running. To change the rotation direction, stop it first, and start it after the motor completely stops rotating.

6. Before use, make sure that the switch and pedal are in the stop position before plugging in the power.

A (Clay cutting line): Assists in precisely cutting clay (cutting surface is very smooth)/repairing and leveling the mouth of the work/taking away the finished product.

B (Small yellow sponge): Add water or absorb water/trim the surface or mouth edge to make it smooth.

C (Wooden knife): Trim the bottom for later removal/trimming.

D (Wooden scraper): Trim the opening/shape and remove the excess clay on the surface to make it smooth.

E (Stainless steel scraper): Remove the excess clay on the surface to make it smooth.

F (Circular large flat wire knife): Trim the surface of the vessel/control the thickness and cut out the bottom ring foot.

G (Steel needle): Scrape off excess clay from the mouth edge/remove air bubbles/pinholes.

H (Ribbon flat wire knife): Finely trim the surface of the utensil or circle the foot.

OPERATING STEPS

Step 1: Take out a proper amount of clay, knead it into a cone shape, fix it at the center of the rotary table, and press it (wet your hands).

Step 2: Plug in the power (If the water basin is not installed, install the water basin).

Step 3: Choose the direction of forward (clockwise) or reverse (counterclockwise) rotation according to your needs.

Step 4: Turn the knob to adjust the proper speed. (Clockwise acceleration, reverse deceleration)

Step 5: Clay molding with tools.

Step 6: Dry the body surface quickly with a hot air gun (1-3 minutes).

Step 7: Clay-mold repairs with tools.

Step 8: Creative painting and coloring can be carried out according to your own needs.

After the work is completed, stop the machine in reverse order.

Remove the molding with a scraper/clay cutting line.

Place in a cool place for a period of time before firing.

TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTION
