How to install the Vevor 1224BT-100-2 fuel hose reel?

Fix the reel to a wall or truck deck with appropriate hardware. Then connect the fuel nozzle by wrapping 3 to 5 turns of PTFE tape around the fitting. Connect the reel inlet to the supply tank. Slowly pull the hose to the desired length; an audible click indicates locking.

What types of fluids can be used with this model?

This model is designed for diesel and kerosene. Do not use with gasoline or other flammable fluids without checking compatibility.

How to retract the hose after use?

Hold the hose, pull it slightly to release the ratchet, then guide it slowly during rewinding. Ensure the hose winds evenly around the reel to avoid damage.

What is the maximum working pressure?

The maximum working pressure is 300 psi (20.7 bar). Do not exceed this pressure to avoid leaks or rupture.

What if the hose does not retract fully?

Check that the nozzle or gun is not too heavy. If the spring is worn, you can increase its tension. If the replacement hose is longer than the original, install the correct length.

How to maintain the hose reel?

Before each use, check the condition of the hose and fittings. Replace worn or damaged parts. Store the reel indoors to prevent moisture. Periodically check for leaks at the swivel.

Is the return spring repairable?

In case of spring failure, it is strongly recommended to have the spring case replaced by a qualified technician due to high tension. Accidental release can cause serious injury.

Can I use this product with water?

No, this product is designed for fuels like diesel and kerosene. Water can damage seals and the mechanism. Use a water-rated reel if needed.

How to fix a leak at the swivel?

Leaks at the swivel indicate worn seals. Replace the swivel seals. First disconnect the supply and release hose pressure before any action.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

FIRE AND EXPLOSION

When flammable fluids are present in the work area, such as gasolin aware that flammable fumes can ignite or explode. To help prevent fi explosion:

• Use equipment only in a well-ventilated area.
• Eliminate all ignition sources, such as cigarettes and portable electric lamps.
• Keep a working fire extinguisher in the work area.

Make sure the line pressure does not exceed the rated operating pre of your model hose reel.

Before carrying out any maintenance turn off and disconnect the supp line to the reel and carefully release the hose line pressure.

SKIN TOUCH

The fluid from dispensing device, hose leaks, or ruptured components be harmful to the skin. Clean with water immediately.

- Do not point the dispensing device at anyone or at any part of th - Do not put your hand over the fluid outlet .

- Do not stop or deflect leaks with your hand, body, glove, or rag. - Tighten all fluid connections before operating the equipment.

- Check hoses and couplings daily. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.

EQUIPMENT MISUSE

Misuse can cause serious injury.

• Pull the hose from the reel by grasping the hose itself, not the co valve.
• Hose reel should be used according to the required type of oil
• Route hoses and cables away from traffic areas, sharp edges, mov parts, and hot surfaces.
• Do not kink or over bend hoses or use hoses to pull equipment.
• Keep children and animals away from the work area.

INSTALLATION

Installation preparation:

1. Please prepare gloves to avoid being scratched by sharp parts that occur during installation.
2. Please open all the boxes to check that the accessories are comp and in good condition.

Installation:

Step 1 Secure the hose reel to a wall or truck deck. Be sure to use appropriate hardware and tighten securely.

Step 2 Connect the fuel gun.

Note: It is recommended to wrap 3\~5 loops of PTFE tape around the Only Model 1224BT-100-51224BT-100-4, 1224BT-100-3, 1224BT-100-2 has an fuel gun.

Step 3 Connect the reel inlet to the oil supply tank or mobile oil sc Note:It is recommended to wrap 3\~5 loops of PTFE tape around the (Tip:you could choose TNP connector or extended fuel inlet connector.

Step 4 Grasp the hose and slowly pull it out to the required length Ratchet teeth for position will hold the hose in the place ,there a cli sound is heard to ensure locking. or use Hose Stopper locator to fix then can it be used.

Note:This product has an integrated locking ratchet system that keeps hose where you want during use and quickly stored when finished.

During the process of slowly pulling out the hose, you will hear consecutive "clicking" Reminder sounds; This is when the ratchet is in action. The first to third sounds can lock the reel, and the fourth so pass the lock (can't locked) and need to be pulled to the next cycle

Step 5 To retract the reel after fueling, holding the hose, slowly pull little, and then slowly put it back.

Noted: When rewinding the hose, make sure that the hose is evenly w around the reel.

NOTE:

• To avoid damage to the reel, always hold on to the hose while it rewinding.
• Please use this product according to the normal oil supply pressure do not use over pressure.
• The maximum working pressure of the product is lower than the working pressure of the hose.

MAINTENANCE

Maintain your reel. Do not force the hose reel. Products are safer and better job when used in the manner for which they are designed. Play work, and use the correct product for the job.

• If the rewind spring fails, for safety reasons, it is strongly recommend the replacement of the spring canister should be performed by an authorized service technician. The spring can be under high tension a accidental release can cause severe personal injury.
• Check for damaged parts before each use. Carefully check that the product will operate properly and perform its intended function. Replace damaged or worn parts immediately. Never operate the product with a damaged part.
• Wet work areas can cause damage to the reel, recommended that reel be placed indoors when not in use to avoid getting wet from th
• Periodically check the hose condition for wear or damage, and check swivel fitting for leakage. Replace any worn, damaged, or leaking part

Troubleshooting

Before calling service team for support, please check the following troubleshooting tips:
