Frequently Asked Questions - Life A3i soundcore

How to pair the earbuds for the first time?

Open the charging case, the earbuds automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The case indicator blinks white. On your device, select "Soundcore Life A3i" from the Bluetooth list. Once connected, the indicator turns off.

How to reset the Soundcore Life A3i earbuds?

Place the earbuds in the case and leave it open. Press the button on the case for 10 seconds until the indicator blinks red quickly 3 times. The reset is then complete.

What is the battery life?

The earbuds offer up to 9 hours of playback on a single charge, and the charging case provides an additional 36 hours. Full charging time is about 2 hours.

Are the earbuds water-resistant?

Yes, the earbuds have an IPX5 rating, protecting them against water jets. They are suitable for sports use but not designed to be submerged.

How to use active noise cancellation (ANC)?

Press and hold the touch button on either earbud for 2 seconds to toggle ANC on/off. You can also switch modes via the Soundcore app.

How to control volume and tracks?

Tap once on the right earbud to increase volume, once on the left to decrease. Double-tap the right to go to the next track, double-tap the left for the previous track.

Can I use a single earbud in mono mode?

Yes, when Bluetooth is connected, place one earbud in the charging case and the other remains active. You can answer calls and listen to music normally.

How to charge the earbuds and case?

Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. Connect the case to a power source via the USB-C port (cable included). The LED indicator shows the charging status.

How to change the ear tips?

Gently remove the current ear tip by pulling it off, then attach the new ear tip of the appropriate size (S, M or L) by pushing firmly onto the earbud nozzle. Ensure it fits snugly for a secure hold.

How to use the Soundcore app?

Download the Soundcore app from the App Store or Google Play. Connect your earbuds, then you can customize controls, adjust the equalizer, change ANC modes, and update the firmware.

Charging

• Fully dry off the earbuds and the USB port before charging.
• Use a certified USB-C charging cable and charger to prevent any damage.

• Fully charge both the earbuds and the charging case before the first use.

• Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it.

• Connect the charging case to the power supply by using a USB-C charging cable.

→ The LED indicator on the charging case indicates the charging status.

Wearing

1. Choose the Ear Tips that fit your ears best.
2. Insert the earbuds into the inner canal of your ears and turn gently until you find the most comfortable and secure position.

- Your earbuds come with 3 pairs of Ear Tips, among which Medium-sized are pre-installed.

Powering On/Off

• Open the charging case, the earbuds will automatically power on.
  • To power off, place the earbuds into the charging case and close it.

• The earbuds will automatically power off after 10 minutes if no device is connected.
• To manually power on, press and hold the multi-function button on both earbuds for 3 seconds.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Open the charging case, the earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

- The LED indicator on the charging case will flash white.

1. Select "Soundcore Life A3i" on your device's Bluetooth list to connect.

- When successfully connected, the LED indicator on the charging case will turn off.

- Pairing with another device: Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the button on the case for 3 seconds until the LED indicator on the charging case flashes white.

• Each time you power on your Soundcore earbuds, they will automatically connect to your last successfully connected device if available within the Bluetooth range.

• Mono mode: When Bluetooth connected, you can use either one of the earbuds only by placing the other one into the charging case.
• When powered on and connected, if either one of the earbuds is out of battery and powered off, you can keep using the other one.
• When you are on a call, place either one of the earbuds into the charging case, and the microphone in the other earbud will be activated.

Reset

- You might need to reset the earbuds if you experience any connectivity problems or function issues.

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case and remain the case open.
2. Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicator on the charging case flashes red 3 times. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
