How do I know if my TV is compatible with this mount?

Check two criteria: the VESA pattern (hole spacing on the back) must be 400 x 400 mm or less, and your TV's weight must not exceed 45 kg for wood stud/concrete installation, or 36 kg for drywall. This information is usually in your TV's manual.

What is the maximum weight supported?

The mount can support up to 45 kg (100 lb) on wood studs, concrete, or concrete blocks. On drywall, the maximum load is 36 kg (80 lb). Never exceed these limits.

Can I install this mount on a drywall wall without studs?

No, installation on drywall requires screwing the wall plate into at least two wood studs behind the drywall. Use a stud finder to locate them. The provided nails are designed to go through the drywall and anchor into the studs.

How do I choose the right bolts for my TV?

The manual provides M4, M6, and M8 bolts of different lengths. Select those whose diameter fits correctly into the threaded inserts of your TV. Use the shortest if the back is flat (Option A), or the longest with spacers if your TV has a curved back, recessed holes, or protruding cables (Option B).

What if the provided bolts don't fit my TV?

If the included bolts are not suitable (too short or too long), contact ErgoAV technical support at [phone] or by email at [e-mail] to get the correct fasteners. Never force an unsuitable bolt.

How do I level the TV after installation?

Use the L-adjustment bolt at the top of the adjustable TV bracket (part 01). Turn it clockwise to raise the TV, or counterclockwise to lower it. Check with a spirit level and adjust until the screen is perfectly horizontal.

Can I slide the TV sideways once installed?

Yes, if the mount is fixed on wood studs, concrete, or concrete blocks, you can slide the TV left and right. However, for drywall installations, do NOT slide the TV sideways to avoid damaging the wall.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need an electric drill, a pencil, a Phillips screwdriver, a tape measure, a level, a 7/16 in (11 mm) socket wrench, a stud finder, a hammer, a 5/32 in (4 mm) wood drill bit for wood studs, a 3/8 in (10 mm) concrete drill bit for concrete, and a drywall bit. Most are not included.

How do I remove the TV from the mount?

Pull down on the TV to disengage it from the wall plate. The manual recommends having assistance as the assembly is heavy. Follow the instructions in step 7 of the manual.

STEP 1 Attach the TV Brackets to Your TV

1-1 Select TV Bolts

The correct bolt diameter will thread smoothly into your TV.

1-2 Position the TV Brackets

Note: If cords R are blocked by the TV, adjust the slider buckles to make them longer.

1-3 Secure the TV Brackets

For Flat-Back TV, go to Option A on page 10.

For Bump, Curved TV, Recessed Holes and Cables, go to Option B on page 11 to 12.

WARNING:

• DO NOT turn the bolt past the bottom of the hole.
• If the bolt is too short, it may not adequately support the TV.
• If the bolt is too long, it could damage the TV.
• At least 4–5 turns into the threading is required.
• The depth of the bottom holes may be different from the top holes.

Use short TV bolts with washers.

Recessed Holes Protruding Cables

You can use a tape measure to measure the protruding bolts or hold spacers next to them to choose the right spacer combination.

There are many possible spacer combinations that can be used.

• Drywall must be of sound construction with no water damage. If water damage occurs, remove the TV immediately.
• If any of the nails encounter excessive resistance (metal objects), please stop and contact us.
• DO NOT mount to patched areas, drywall seams, or uneven walls.
• DO NOT reuse the nails after removal. Do not use store-bought nails.
• DO NOT use lag screws A1 for wall anchors for this mounting option.

FOR DRYWALL INSTALLATIONS:

DO NOT slide the TV side-to-side.

STEP 6 Level Adjustment

Note: If your Phillips screwdriver is not long enough to turn the bolt L, please remove the TV to adjust the bolt L. After adjusting, hang up the TV and test to ensure the TV is level.

Turn the bolt L located at the top of the adjustable TV bracket 01 clockwise to raise the TV, or counterclockwise to lower the TV. Use a level to test and adjust the TV to the level position.
