FUNCTIONANDPURPOSE

This equipment is intended to hold plated, pre-cooked, hot food for short period so time. It is not intended to heat food or for direct contact with food. It is not intended for household, industrial or laboratory use.

OPERATION

Donottouchhotfood, liquidorheatingsurfaceswhile equipmentisheatingoroperating.

NOTICE: Foodmustbeplated. Donotplacefooddirectlyontothe heatedshelf.

NOTICE: The heated shelf can reach temperatures up to 200°F (93.3°C). Donot placematerials on the shelf that can be comedamaged at that temperature.

NOTICE: Donotslideplates, pans, cookware, etc. across the hardcoat finish. This could created a gametothefinish that is not covered under warranty.

Tip: To extend the duration at which food shield at optimal holding temperatures, use a Vollrath heat strip in conjunction with the heated shelf.

1. Presstheheatzone(s) powerbuttonstoturnontheheated-shelf. Thebutton(s) willilluminate. Theheatzonesetting(s) willdefault to thesettingsfromtheprevioususe.
2. Presstheheatcontrolbutton(s)toselectaheatsetting. Note: Theheatsettingwillapplytobothzones.
3. The control panel will display these selected heat setting and the heating indicator light will illuminate

1. Thelightwillcycleonandoffastheshelfperiodicallyheatsto maintaintheheatsetting.

1. Platepre-cookedfood, heatedtoproperservingtemperature. Place theplatedfoodontothepre-heatedshelf.

NOTICE:Monitorfoodtemperaturecloselyforfoodsafety. The UnitedStatesPublicHealthServicerecommendsthathot foodbeheldataminimumof140°F(60°C)tohelp preventbacteriagrowth.

1. Monitor food and adjustment the heat settings as needed.
2. When finished using the shelf, remove the food and turn off the shelf.

3. Use gloves, mittsorpotholderstoprotechands when removing containers of hot food.
4. Allow the equipment to cool completely before cleaning.
5. Useadampclothorspongedippedinsoapywatertocleanthe equipment.
6. Useadampclothorspongedippedincleanwatertorinsethe equipment.
7. Use as soft cloth to thoroughly dry the equipment.
