FUNCTIONANDPURPOSE
This equipment is intended to hold plated, pre-cooked, hot food for short period soft time. It is not intended to heat food or direct contact with food. It is not intended for household, industrial or laboratory use.

OPERATION

Don't touch hot food, liquidor heating surfaces while equipment is heating or operating.
NOTICE: Food must be plated. Donot place food directly onto the heated shelf.
NOTICE:Theheatedshelfcanreachtemperaturesupto200°F (93.3°C). Donotplacematerialsontheselfthatcan become damagedaththattemperature.
NOTICE: Donotslideplates, pans, cookware, etc. across the hardcoatfinish. Thiscouldcreate damagetothefinishthat isnotcoveredunderwarranty.
Tip: To extend the duration at which foodisheldatoptimal holding temperatures, useaVollrathheatsstripin conjunction withthe heated shelf.
1.Presstheheatzone(s)powerbuttonstoturnnontheated-shelf. Thebutton(s)willilluminate.Theheatzonesetting(s)willdefaultto thesettingsfromtheprevioususe.
2.Presstheheatcontrolbutton(s)toselectaheatsetting. Note:Theheatsettingwillapplytobothzones.
3.Thecontrolpanelwilldisplaytheselectedheatsettingandthe heatingindicatorlightwillilluminate

4.Theightwillcycleonandoffashesthelfperiodicallyheatstopaintaintheheatsetting.

- Platepre-cookedfood,heatedtoperservingtemperature. Place theplatedfoodontothepre-heatedshelf.
NOTICE: Monitor food temperature closely for food safety. The United States Public Health Servicerecommendssthat food beheldat minimum of 140^(60^) to help prevent bacteriaagrowth.
6.Monitorfoodandadjusttheheatsettingsasneeded.
7.Whenfinishedusingthesheelf,removethefoodandturnoffthe shelf.
