INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY
The adapter can be inserted easily and quickly.
To do this, unlock the battery cover by sliding the gray latch towards the bottom. Now you can pull off the battery cover in the direction of the gray latch (Fig. 1a - Fig. 1b). To change the adapter, release the red locking mechanism and remove the inserted adapter.
Now insert the matching adapter into the Brennenstuhl interface (Fig. 1c) and lock it with the red locking mechanism (Fig. 1d). Insert the charged 18 volt battery into the battery holder from behind (Fig. 1e) until you feel it click into the end position. To remove the battery, press the battery release button and pull the battery back out of the battery holder. Then close the cover again (Fig. 1f).
To ensure IP54 (dust and splash-proof), the floodlight may only be operated with the battery cover correctly closed.
If the device is not used for a longer period of time, remove the rechargeable battery.
The floodlight can also be operated without battery cover up to 12 Ah rechargeable batteries; in this case, the IP class will, however, be reduced to IP20 and the floodlight may only be operated in a dry environment. To do so, open the battery cover locking (Fig. 1a). Afterwards, remove the battery cover.
COMMISSIONING
Place the floodlight on a dry, level surface and fold out the support legs as far as they will go (Fig. 2a).
Unlock the telescopic stand by sliding the two gray latches on the sides from the bottom to the top and releasing them from the anchorage (Fig. 2b). Then unlock the light by pressing the gray button by the battery indicator (Fig. 2c).
Now the stand can be set up vertically (Fig. 2d). Make sure that it audibly clicks into place in the lock at the battery indicator. The telescopic stand can now be extended to the desired height. To do this, start with the lowest step, open the yellow clamp lock, extend the tripod to the desired height and lock it again with the yellow clamp lock (Fig. 2e).
This procedure can be performed up to four times until the illuminator has reached its maximum height.
To move the light element to the desired position, the floodlight has two functions. Set the floodlight in the desired direction by folding it up or down on the shaft side. In addition, the floodlight can be rotated 180^ (Fig. 2f).
Important: always turn the floodlight back to its original position after use.
To switch on the floodlight, press the switch on the side. Pressing it several times switches the light intensity from 100% to 75% to 50% to 25% and then to "off" (Fig. 3).
The less light output is set, the longer the light duration.
If a switch position is unchanged for more than 5 seconds, pressing it again always leads to the "off" state.
If the battery is almost empty, the LED floodlight flashes five times. After that, the floodlight will continue to shine at 50% brightness for about 10 minutes before the deep discharge protection switches the floodlight off.
DISMANTLING
To properly repack the floodlight after use, first open the yellow clamp latches and retract the stand to the minimum (Fig. 4a). Unlock the floodlight with the gray button on the battery indicator (Fig. 4b). Now fold the telescope together with the light unit. The light unit must audibly engage in the gray button at the battery display (Fig. 4c). Now lock the lamp head with the gray anchors and fold the support legs together (Fig. 4d). Once the floodlight is in its initial state (Fig. 4e), it can be safely stored in the transport bag.
