We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is designed to style human hair.
The product must not be used on artificial or animal hair. Do not use the product for any other purpose.
This product is only intended for private household use, not for commercial purposes.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.
- Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packing materials before use.

In the case of damage resulting from non-compliance with these operating instructions the warranty claim becomes invalid! No liability is accepted for consequential damage! In the case of material damage or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions, no liability is accepted!
⚠ WARNING! RISK OF LOSS OF LIFE OR ACCIDENT TO INFANTS AND CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Because the product can get hot, it is recommended to be used by children aged from 14 years if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
■ Children shall not play with the product.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
⚠ WARNING! Misuse may lead to injury. Use this product solely in accordance with these instructions. Do not attempt to modify the product in any way.
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the product from the power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.
Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product's rating label.
■ Regularly check the mains plug and the mains cord for damages. If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
■ Protect the mains cord against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it. Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
The use of extension cords is not recommended. If the use of an extension cord is necessary, it must be designed for a current flow of at least 10 A. Lay cords in such a way that they may not be tripped over or otherwise damaged.

WARNING!

Do not use this product near water, bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
■ Use the product at a dry location.
■ When the product is connected to the power supply, never leave it unattended.
- Do not operate the product with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands.
- Do not pull the mains plug out of the socket-outlet by the mains cord. Do not wrap the mains cord around the product.
■ Protect the product, its mains cord and mains plug against dust, direct sunlight, dripping and splashing water. - Switch off the product before
- changing attachments,
- cleaning,
- disconnecting the product from the power supply.
- When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is switched off.
⚠️ CAUTION! Burn hazard!
Keep the product out of reach of young children and pets, particularly during use and cooling down.
■ Always place the product with the stand on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
- Do not use the product outdoors.
■ People fitted with a heart pacemaker should consult their doctor about the possible risks of using this product before taking it into use.
■ Never place the product close to sources of heat. Do not let the mains cord touch the hot surface.
- Do not use or store the product in or expose it to a humid environment.
■ Always disconnect the product from the mains when it is unattended or after use.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of burns!
The styling glove does not provide thermal and physical protection.
Do not touch hot objects, fire, sharp points or sharp edges when wearing the styling glove. Injuries could be caused by improper use.
Before first use
⚠ WARNING! Be careful with the weight of the product. Before switching on, check whether you can carry the weight of the product with one hand.
NOTE: The product may give off some odour during first use. These are production or transport residue that will quickly subside.
☐ Remove the packaging. Check if all parts are complete.
Operation
● Preparing the product
i NOTES:
Before you switch on the product, make sure that the stand rack 4 does not touch the product.
■ Always place the product with the stand rack 4 on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.

Fold out the stand rack 4 (Fig. B). Make sure the following parts do not touch the act supporting surface:

- Triple-barrel waver 2
- Hot barrel 12
Connect the mains plug 9 to a suitable socket-outlet.
- Switching on/off
⚠ WARNING! Risk of burns!
The product becomes very hot during use. Do not touch the triple-barrel waver 2 and the hot barrel 12:
- when the product is switched on, or - right after switch off.
Always hold the product by its handle 11.
Do not touch the triple-barrel waver 2 and the hot barrel 12 when wearing the styling glove 13. Injuries could be caused by improper use.
☐ Off mode: The product enters the off mode automatically when it is connected to the mains supply without ⏻7 being pressed.
☐ Switching on the product: Press and hold ⏻ 7 for approx. 2 seconds. 100 °C flashes on the display 5. The product heats up.
☐ Switching off the product: Press and hold ⏻ 7 for approx. 2 seconds. The display 5 goes out. The product returns to off mode.
- Adjusting the temperature
i NOTES:
The temperature can be set between 100 °C and 200 °C in 10 °C increments.
■ Start at the lowest recommended temperature.
If required, adjust the temperature in small steps to reach the optimum temperature setting.
☐ Use + 6 and - 8 to adjust the temperature. The set temperature flashes on the display 5. The display 5 lights up continuously once the selected temperature is reached.
☐ The following temperatures are recommended depending on the type of hair:

Styling the hair
i NOTES:
- Do not touch the scalp with the triple-barrel waver 2 and the hot barrel 12. - The hair must be clean, dry and free from styling products. This excludes special products that support the styling.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before styling.
■ Use the product in a well-ventilated room.
- Wait until the hair has cooled down before brushing or combing it. Otherwise the result might not be satisfactory.
- Put the styling glove 13 onto the hand used for styling the hair.
- Section off a strand of hair (approx. 4 cm wide).
- Press the finger rest 3 to open the triple-barrel waver 2.
- Put the strand of hair on the hot barrel 12.
- Release the finger rest 3 slowly to release the triple-barrel waver 2.

Hold the strand of hair in the product for approx. 5 to 8 seconds (depending on the hair type).
-
Press the finger rest 3 to open the triple-barrel waver 2. Carefully remove the hair. If necessary, repeat the above steps until the result is satisfactory.
- Switch off the product once the styling is completed.
- Remove the mains plug 9 from the socket-outlet. Allow the product to cool down completely in a well-ventilated location and out of the reach of children.
- Remove the styling glove 13 from the hand.
● Automatic switch-off function
i NOTES:
The product is fitted with an automatic switch-off function. After approx. 30 minutes the product switches off automatically. The display 5 goes out. The product returns to off mode.
- Switch the product back on to continue using the product.
The automatic switch-off is a safety function only.
The automatic switch-off function is not intended as a replacement for switching the product off properly.
● Troubleshooting

● Cleaning and care
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Always switch off the product and disconnect the mains plug 9 from the socket-outlet before cleaning the product.
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of burns! Do not clean the product right after operation. Allow the product to cool down completely before cleaning.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock!
Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
■ Ensure that no water or moisture penetrates the product.
CAUTION! Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or material to clean the product.
⚠️ ATTENTION! Do not use cleaning sprays and other aggressive cleaning agents, as they can cause stains, smears or clouding on the surfaces.

Clean the product with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn soiling, wipe with a light detergent on the cloth.

Dry all parts thoroughly.
Storage
☐ Store the product at a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
□ Store the product in the original packaging when it is not in use.
Alternatively, hang the product on the hanging loop 10.
● Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics/20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
● Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your claim, observe the following instructions:
Make sure to have the original sales receipt and the item number (IAN 472281_2407) available as proof of purchase.
You can find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the product, on the front page of the instruction manual (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, contact the service department listed below either by telephone or by e-mail.
Once the product has been recorded as defective you can return it free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure to enclose the proof of purchase (sales receipt) and a short, written description outlining the details of the defect and when it occurred.
