How to pair the earbuds with my phone?

Enable Bluetooth on your phone, then take the earbuds out of the case. Look for the name SOGO SS-8170 in the list of devices and tap it to pair.

How to charge the earbuds?

Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the USB-C cable to the case and a 5V/500mA-1A charger. The red LED flashes during charging and becomes solid when charging is complete.

What is the battery life of the earbuds?

The earbuds offer 3.5 hours of playback per charge. With the case, total playtime reaches 14 hours (4 full recharges).

How to control the volume?

To increase volume, double-tap the multifunction button (MFB) on the right earbud. To decrease volume, double-tap the MFB on the left earbud.

How to skip to the next or previous track?

To skip to the next track, triple-tap the MFB on the right earbud. To go to the previous track, triple-tap the MFB on the left earbud.

How to answer or reject a call?

To answer or end a call, press once on the MFB of either earbud. To reject a call, long press (2 seconds) on the MFB.

How to use Siri voice assistant?

Long press (2 seconds) on the MFB of either earbud to activate Siri or your phone's voice assistant.

What to do if the earbuds do not connect?

Make sure the earbuds are charged and your phone's Bluetooth is enabled. If the issue persists, forget the device in Bluetooth settings and repeat the pairing procedure.

Are the earbuds water-resistant?

No, they are not water-resistant. Avoid any contact with water or moisture. Do not use them in rain or during intense sports activities.

How to turn off the earbuds?

Long press the MFB on both earbuds for 6 seconds, or simply put them back in the charging case. They will turn off automatically after 3 minutes without connection.

2. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

I. Restrictions

• Never immerse the device or the charging cable in water or any other liquid. In the event of the speaker falling in water, take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not place or operate the device on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or irreparable damage to the product.
• Do not use the device for any purpose other than described in this manual.
• Do not leave the device charging longer than recommended by the manufacturer, as this may damage the battery or the device itself.
• Do not use the device while it is charging, as this may also damage the device.
• Do not drop, disassemble, deform, modify, or insert any objects into this product, as operating damage may result.
• Do not attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble the product yourself. This product does not contain any user-serviceable components, and doing so may void the warranty.
• Do not clean the product with alcohol, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not place this product in contact with any sharp objects, as this may cause scratches and operating damage.
• Do not attempt to replace the product battery; it is built-in and not user-changeable.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children.

II. Precautions while using this device

• Earbuds should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid contact with oil, steam, moisture, dust, etc., to avoid affecting product performance.
• Avoid using irritating organic solvents or items containing these ingredients to clean earbuds.
• Earbuds should be used correctly and in a standardized manner as required, and attention should be paid to the impact of their use on the surrounding environment. To ensure a smooth connection, the distance between the phone and the earbuds should not exceed 10 meters.
• If the earbuds have other problems such as poor connection or communication, please do not

disassemble the earbuds body and accessories without permission, otherwise the warranty will not be granted.

• Please choose a standard charger to charge the earbuds.
• To ensure your normal use of the earbuds, please ensure that the earbuds have sufficient power.
• Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust, or mechanical shock; never leave the products directly in the sun.
• In case of lightning, immediately take off the earphones.
• You may not hear some warning sounds while wearing these earphones.
• Prolonged exposure to high sound levels may permanently damage your hearing.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

- To avoid possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume for long periods of time. Please set the volume to a safe level and understand that the louder the volume is, the shorter the safe listening time.

- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear the ambient sound.

- You should temporarily refrain from using it in potentially hazardous situations (such as lightning, rain, extreme heat).

4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE FIRST USE:

For the best experience, please charge the charging case and the earbuds before using them.

Charging LED:

When charging the case, the charging case LED light flashes RED, and when the case is fully charged the RED light stays ON constantly.

Note:

You must select a qualified charger from a reputable manufacturer. (Charging Voltage: 5V, Charging Current: 500mAh to 1A for the charging case). A fully charged earbud will lose its power automatically if left unused. It is recommended to charge the headset every three months. Do not leave the headset in extremely hot or cold conditions (best between –10°C and 55°C), as this may affect the headset's operation even if it is fully charged. If you do not plan to use the headsets for a long time, take them out of the charging case and store them separately. Do not dispose of the earbuds in fire or water.

HOW TO USE:

Power On:

1. Open the charging case and take out the earbuds.
2. Long press for 2 seconds on both earbuds (L and R).

Power OFF:

1. Long press for 6 seconds on both earbuds (L and R) to turn them off.
2. Put the earbuds back inside the charging case.

Connecting Earbuds to your Phone:

1. Turn the Bluetooth of your mobile phone ON and then take the earbuds out from the charging case.
2. While connecting the earbuds first time with any phone, search the Bluetooth name (SOGO SS-8170) in the list of available Bluetooth options in the mobile phone. Touch this name to pair the earbuds with the phone.
3. To connect the earbuds with any previously connected phone, just take the earbuds out from the charging case and they will connect automatically with the previously connected device.

HOW TO OPERATE:

1- To go to the previous song, touch MFB (Multi Function Button) 3 times on Left earbud. 2- To go to the next song, touch MFB (Multi Function Button) 3 times on Right earbud. 3- To pause / play function, just do a single touch on MFB (Multi Function Button) on either of the earbuds to Pause / Play a song. 4- To Receive / End the call, just do a single touch on MFB (Multi Function Button) on either of the earbuds while the call is ringing or while the call is going on. 5- To use Voice Assistance / Siri, touch either of the earbuds on MFB (Multi Function Button) for 2 seconds and the Voice Assistance / Siri will be activated. 6- To Volume Up/Down: To increase the volume, touch 2 times on MFB (Multi Function Button) on

the right earbuds and to decrease the volume, touch 2 times on MFB on the left earbuds.

7- To Refuse the call, press either of the earbuds MFB (Multi Function Button) for 2 seconds to refuse the call.

NOTE: Control functions may vary as per the device connected. And the earbuds will be turned OFF automatically if not connected with any devices in next 3 minutes.

Do not dispose the battery-operated units as normal rubbish, always these should be recycled in proper manner and according to the local municipal laws.
