3. Safety instructions for the user
1.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
General precautions during the use of electrical equipment
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• Always place the appliance on to the flat an even surface. - This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the
user.
- The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the name-plate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on. - Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
- The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.
- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
II. Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury
- Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
- Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
- Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames
- Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons
- When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.
- To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
- Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.
- While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
- Do not let the motor unit, cord or plug get wet to protect against risk of electric shock.
III. ⚠️ Product use restrictions due to poor condition or breakdown
- Never immerse the appliance or the plug-
in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons i order to avoid Hazard.
- In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians
IV. ⚠️! Restrictions on use when used with children and elders
- The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of the children.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
- Do not allow the children to use the appliance.
V. IMPORTANT WARNING
- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
- A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.
- Installation of a spike protector will offer additional protection with a nominal trigger current of not more than 30 Ma in the house installation. Please consult your installing electrician.
VI. ⚠️! Instructions to follow when using the appliance
• WARNING: The blades are very sharp!
- Avoid contacting moving parts of the appliance while in function.
- Turn off the appliance and disconnect from the mains supply before changing accessories or approaching movable parts in use.
- Care must be taken when handling the sharp blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
- Do not connect the appliance to the mains until it is completely assembled and always disconnect the appliance before disassembling or handling the blade.
• WARNING: Risk of injury!
- The appliance must always be unplugged when not under supervision, and prior to assembly, disassembling or cleaning.
- This appliance must be used with the carriage and food holder in the operating position, unless prohibited by the size and shape of the food to be sliced.
- Handle the knife with the appropriate care! In particular, cleaning presents a risk of injury!
- Do not place the food to be cut on the blade by hand. Do so only using the carriage.
• Always use the food holder if small cut pieces are desired.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Kindly refer to the cleaning and maintenance section for details on how to clean surfaces which comes in the contact of food.

Intended use
This appliance is designed for slicing food ingredients.
It is designed for this purpose only and should only be used in the manner described in the instructions for use. It should only be used in the manner described in these instructions for use, this appliance should not be used for commercial purposes..
Any other use of the appliance shall be deemed to be contrary to the intended purpose and can lead to damage to property or even to personal injury.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damages which arise as a result of the use of the appliance contrary to its intended purpose.
6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Unpacking the appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials, such as plastic film, packing material, flanges and cardboard box.
- Check whether all components have been supplied.
REMARK:
It is possible that production residues or dust may remain in the device. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning and maintenance" section.
Instrucion for use
Before first use
- Place the appliance on a flat work surface.
- Attach the foot holder (6) to the sliding carriage to press against the food to be sliced.
Electrical connection
- Before inserting the plug into the socket, check that the voltage of the electrical system corresponds to the voltage of the appliance. Information on this can be found on the rating label plate.
- Connect the appliance to a socket with a correctly installed earthed mains socket.
Functions of the switch and buttons (7)

ON Switch on in continuous operation
Note: During continuous operation you can release the switch.
ATTENTION: Short-time operation, do not let the appliance operate in continuous mode for more than 10 minutes. Let it cool down for approx. 30 minutes before using it again.
How to Use
NOTE:
If you want to make particularly thin cuts, lightly wet the blade with a damp cloth. This will prevent the cut food from sticking to the blade.
- Use the knob to adjust the cutting thickness.
- Place the food to be sliced on the sliced carraige. Maximum slicing thickness: 15 mm.
- Push the food to be sliced gently in the direction of the blade, with the food grip if necessary.
- Switch on the motor by turning the switch to ON. To turn the motor off, turn the switch to OFF.
- Hold the foot holder firmly with one hand and slide the food gently against the positioning plate by pushing the slider towards the blade. After slicing, pull the carriage back to its original position. Repeat this uniform movement forwards and backwards.
WARNING:
- Never use the appliance without the carraige and foot holder to prevent the risk of injury.
- NEVER TOUCH THE BLADE WHILE THE APPLIANCE IS WORKING OR CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY.
Finalizing operation

Turn the switch (7) to "OFF".
-
Remove the plug from the socket and follow the cleaning instructions.
Removing and installing the blade
- Tilt the slider to one side or push it forward leaving the blade completely visible.
- The blade is attached by a quick-release fastener to the hub. To remove the blade, grasp the black lever and push it towards the hub. Turn it clockwise to release the blade lock (Fig. 5). Remove the blade carefully, with the help of gloves.
- Clean the serrated blade and the front of the blade with a damp cloth. Remove any remaining moisture with a dry cloth.
- To install the blade, place it carefully onto the hub.
- Press the quick release again and turn it counterclockwise until it locks into place, so that the locking mechanism is activated.
- Make sure the blade is held firmly in place.
WARNING:
The blade must be positioned in such a way that the text on the black lever is visible. failure in to do so may result in blockage of the blade.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
- Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. This could result in electric shock or fire.
- The cutting surface of the blade is very sharp. There is a risk of injury. Handle the appliance with appropriate care.
- Do not use wire brushes or abrasive objects.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
REMARK:
- To facilitate cleaning of the carriage you can tilt it to one side (fig.3).
- Clean the housing, carriage and blade with a slightly damp cloth.
- Remove any remaining moisture with a dry cloth.
- The foot holder can be cleaned in soapy water and then dried.
CAUTION:
- If you remove the blade from blade lock for cleaning then do not remove the lubricant from the back of the blade.
- Do not clean the blade in soapy water.
WARNING
Do not touch the sharp blade. When cleaning, please wipe with a kitchen cloth, to avoid accidental injury.

The sound pressure level was measured at the ear of an operator (LpA) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3744.
