What types of vegetables can I use with the SS-5265 spiralizer?

How to install the blade?

Place the desired blade in the housing, then close the feed tube. Make sure the blade is correctly positioned so that the tube closes properly. If the tube does not close, readjust the blade.

Can I use the appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds?

No, to avoid overheating the motor, do not use the spiralizer for more than 30 seconds at a time. Let it cool before using again.

How to clean the blades?

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Clean the blades by hand with soapy water. Caution, they are very sharp. Do not put them in the dishwasher.

What to do if the vegetable spins with the blade?

Make sure the vegetable is properly held by the pusher. Apply constant pressure and check that the blade is correctly installed.

• When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
• Please read these instructions carefully before use. • Home use only. Do not use for industrial purposes.
• Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.

• Unplug grinder from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not operate the appliance if the cord or the plug is damaged or if any malfunctions have happened.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not touch any moving parts.
• To disconnect the unit from the power supply, never pull the cord; use the plug.
• To avoid overheating the motor, do not use the grinder for more than 30 seconds.

The vegetable spiralizer has 3 different blades to offer three different types of shapes. a) Large and thick b) Fine c) Extra fine.

1. Begin by positioning the unit on a non-slippery and stable surface. Far from any source of heat. Make sure the unit is not plugged in.
2. Begin by placing the desired blade in the housing, check that the blade is correctly positioned and then check that the feed tube is properly closed. If the blade is not properly placed, the feed tube won't fit into its place or it won't close properly. In this case readjust the blade so that it can fit in properly. Once the feed tube is closed, plug the unit into the outlet making sure that the button is in off position.
3. The vegetable must have a diameter of between 2.5 cm and a maximum of 6 cm.
4. Put the vegetable into the tube using the pusher, once it reaches the cone of the blade, you can start the spiralizer by turning it to the ON / I position.
5. You may need to take it back several times to achieve the desired result. In order to help you, apply constant pressure using the pusher on the vegetable.
6. Make sure that the vegetable does not rotate with the blade.
7. Once the vegetable has been sliced, always put the appliance on O / OFF, unplug the cable, remove the pusher, the blade etc. BEFORE cleaning or servicing the blade, make sure that the appliance is in the O / OFF position and that the appliance is unplugged. ALWAYS pay attention to the blade, it is extremely sharp and can cause injury if not handled with care. Never touch the blade if the unit is plugged in.
