Please read these instructions carefully before installing and using the Urban Arrow Trekking Luggage Carrier.

• The Trekking Luggage Carrier is suitable for all UA4.X bicycles, which can be recognised by their distinct rear frame design. ①
• Ensure that any bag fitted to the luggage carrier is securely fitted in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and that there are no loose straps that can get caught in the wheel.
• Make sure that reflectors and lamps are not obscured by any luggage.
• The Urban Arrow Trekking Luggage carrier is not designed for the attachment of a child seat.
• The connections of the Trekking Luggage Carrier shall be checked before every use.
• In the event of a defect, such as a crack or inflexion, we recommend that you contact your dealer. Do not continue driving if the carrier is defective.
• If the Trekking Luggage Carrier or any of its important parts are bent or broken, replace all the parts.
• Do not let children climb onto the Trekking Luggage Carrier. Make sure that they are always supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
• Make sure that the Trekking Luggage Carrier is unloaded during storage.

3. Installation

• Unauthorised modifications to the Trekking Luggage Carrier or its components are not permitted. This will void the warranty.
• Never exceed the maximum load capacity of the Trekking Luggage Carrier.
  • The carrier is not designed to pull a trailer.

Recommended tools:

• 8mm spanner
• 10mm spanner
• Tie wraps

Check if the packaging contains the following components:

To install the Trekking Luggage Carrier:

1. Disconnect the mudguard stays Ⓑ from the frame Ⓒ.
2. Horizontally position the carrier Ⓐ in the direction of the upper rear frame holes Ⓓ. Make sure the carrier does not interfere with the mudguard stays Ⓔ. ②

4. Warranty

1. Attach the upper arm of the carrier to the upper rear frame holes with the M5x25 flange bolts and M5 washers. 2
2. Put the M6x25 flange bolts through the M6 washers, the slots on the p-clips ⑥ and the slots on the mudguard stays ⑧. ③ NOTICE Make sure the brake cable ⑨ is positioned away from the braking mechanism.
3. Attach the lower arm of the carrier Ⓐ to the lower rear frame holes Ⓔ by fastening the M6x25 flange bolts. Ⓤ

6. Tightenallflange bolts.

NOTICE If the carrier is mounted on a frame with metallic mudguard stays, the mudguard may become loose and rattle more easily. To prevent this, use tie wraps to attach the lower mudguard stays to the lower arm of the carrier. ④

NOTICE When using the carrier in combination with an Ortlieb bike bag, make sure to install the correct E236 locking buttons before use.

NOTICE To uninstall the carrier, follow steps 1-5, and its instructions, in reversed order.

Please handle this product with appropriate care. Contact your Urban Arrow partner before returning the product. The warranty covers 24 months from the date of purchase. The defective product must be sent to the manufacturer within 2 weeks. The warranty will be void in the following cases:

• External force;
• Lack of care;
• Failure to comply with safety instructions;
  • Discoloration caused by UV radiation;
• Scratches, indentations and loosening of the painting caused by normal usage.

Modifications to the Urban Arrow Trekking Luggage Carrier or its components are not permitted. This will void the warranty.
