How to use the steam generator for the first time?

Remove all stickers and protective films. Fill the water tank to the MAX level. Plug in the appliance, turn it on with the power button. Select the desired steam flow (1, 2 or 3). Wait for the temperature indicator to stay steadily lit. Iron a damp cloth at full power for a few minutes to remove manufacturing residues.

How to descale the steam generator?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely. Turn the base over, place a towel over the cap and unscrew it. Drain the limescale water, then rinse with clean water. Screw the cap back on and return the base to its normal position. The descaling indicator will turn off after cleaning.

What to do if the steam generator does not produce steam?

Check that the water tank is not empty (refill indicator on). Make sure the soleplate has reached the set temperature (temperature indicator steady). If the problem persists, check that the steam flow is not set to 0 (minimum). If nothing works, descaling may be necessary.

Why does water flow from the soleplate during heating?

This is normal. During initial heating, a small amount of water may flow automatically for about 3 seconds. This is part of the steam preparation process. It does not happen again once the appliance is at temperature.

Can I use scented water or vinegar in the tank?

No, never fill the tank with hot water, perfume, vinegar, starch, descaling agent, fabric softener or any other additive. Use only tap water to avoid damaging the appliance.

How to lock the iron for transport?

Place the iron on its heat insulation support. Press the iron lock button (located on the base). The iron is then secured. To unlock it, press the unlock button before lifting the iron.

What are the recommended temperature settings for each fabric type?

The steam flow settings are coupled with a corresponding temperature. For delicate fabrics (silk, synthetics), use flow 1 (low temperature). For cotton and linen, use flows 2 or 3 (high temperature). Consult the garment care label.

How to clean the iron soleplate?

After cooling, wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth or non-abrasive cleaning product. Never use chemicals, metal objects or abrasive cleaners to avoid scratching the soleplate.

What does the flashing refill indicator mean?

The refill indicator lights up and two beeps sound when the water level in the tank is insufficient. The steam generator stops operating. Remove the tank, fill it to the MAX mark, then replace it.

The appliance switches off automatically, is this normal?

Yes, the steam generator has a safety auto-off after 10 minutes of inactivity. To restart it, simply press the power button. This saves energy and prevents any risk of burns.

These instructions are intended for the user.

They describe the iron and how to use it. They also apply to different types of appliances, therefore you may find some descriptions of functions that may not apply to your appliance.

Never touch the surfaces of heating or ironing sole plate. They will become hot during operation. Keep children at a safe distance. There is a risk of burning!

• Read all instructions.
• Before using, check and make sure that the voltage of the wall outlet corresponds to the one shown on the rating plate.

Each steam rate is provided with its corresponding temperature setting. When ironing, select the proper temperature setting according to the type of clothes.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Remove any sticker or protective foil from the sole plate.
• Iron a piece of damp cloth under the maximum temperature for several minutes for the purpose of removing any residue on the sole plate according to the section of “Steam ironing”.

NOTES:

It is normal that strange odor comes out from the unit for the first use. This will cease after a short while.

Some particles may come out of the soleplate when you use the iron for the first time. This is normal; the particles are harmless and stop coming out of the iron after a short while.

After you switch on the appliance, the water pump in the unit base may produce a sound when spraying steam.

During the heating process of the soleplate, there will be little water coming out from the soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will continue for about 3 seconds, This is normal.

Water tank release button

Press the Water tank release button and carefully grasp the water tank handle to remove the water tank from the unit base.

Filling aperture

Fill the water tank with water through the filling aperture. Make sure that the water shall not exceed the MAX mark on water tank.

Temperature indicator

When the iron is heating up, the Temperature indicator will flash. Once the iron has reached the selected temperature, it will illuminate solidly. And the Temperature indicator will illuminate solidly during ironing.

Steam trigger

When the steam is ready, press and hold the Steam trigger with a little force, and steam will be sprayed continuously from the soleplate.

NOTE

When you release the steam trigger, the appliance can only be used for dry ironing without steam.

Shot of steam

Press the steam trigger twice within 1 second to activate the shot of steam function, and then you can use the shot of steam to remove tough wrinkles.

Iron lock and Iron lock release button

When the iron is locked on the thermal insulation stand, press the Iron lock release button to unlock the iron lock, then the iron can be removed from the thermal insulation stand for ironing. When the iron lock is unlocked, the iron can be placed on the thermal insulation stand. When the iron is placed on the thermal insulation stand, press down the iron lock and then the iron is locked on the thermal insulation stand; at that time, the whole appliance can be lifted up for convenient carrying.

Power button

Plug in the appliance and press down the Power button; the Power indicator will illuminate, and Steam rate 1 is regarded as the default one, with its indicator flashing. Hold and press the Power button for about 2 seconds, and the appliance will be disconnected from the power supply.

Cord winding groove

When not in use, the steam supply hose can be wound along the Cord winding groove for storage.

USING YOUR STEAM GENERATOR

Steam rate control button "UP ARROW" & "DOWN ARROW"

Press the Steam rate control button "UP" & "DOWN" to switch among Steam rate 1, Steam rate 2, and Steam rate 3, and one beep can be heard when making the switch. The corresponding indicator of the selected steam rate will light solidly.

NOTE: If the steam rate indicator is blinking, the base is preparing steam. Once the steam rate indicator is solid, the station is ready for ironing.

Refill indicator

The refill indicator will illuminate and two beeps can be heard, and the steam generator will stop working if the water tank lacks water. At that time, you should remove the water tank and refill it with water through the filling aperture, then replace the water tank properly in position.

Calc/clean indicator

If the descaling indicator illuminates, it indicates that the steam generator should be cleaned because mineral deposits have collected to a certain degree. When the system ensures that the mineral deposits have been removed, the indicator will turn off.

Automatic power off

The appliance will turn off automatically if there is no operation within 10 minutes under normal standby mode. To restart the appliance, just press the Power button again. The appliance will enter energy-saving mode when it does not release steam for a long time at first use. To exit energy-saving mode, press and hold the steam trigger for more than 2 seconds; at that time, the indicator of the selected steam rate will blink, and the appliance will release steam after the indicator blinks for 30 seconds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, first disconnect the power outlet and let the appliance cool down.

1. Wipe the flakes and any other deposits on the soleplate with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.

NOTE: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden, or abrasive cleaners to scrape the soleplate.

1. Clean the upper part of the iron with a soft damp cloth. Wipe the water drops on the unit base and the thermal insulation stand with a dry cloth.
2. To remove the mineral deposits collected in the inner steam generator, follow the procedure below:
3. First, turn the unit base upside down and place it on a level surface horizontally, making sure that the unit base is placed stably.
4. Then, cover a towel on the knob and rotate the knob with the towel to detach it.
5. After that, drain the steam generator, then refill it with clean water to clean it well.

WARNING: To avoid a risk of injury, make sure the steam generator has been cooled down completely before removing the knob.

• After drainage, tighten the knob and make the unit base stand again.
• When not using the appliance for a long time, empty the water in the tank, and put the iron on the thermal insulation stand, then press the iron lock to lock the iron well.
