3.2. Preparing for use

BERORE THE FIRST USE

Upon receipt of the goods, check the packaging for defects and open the packaging if there are no damages. If the packaging is damaged, please contact your transport company and distributor within 3 days, and document the damages as detailed as possible. Do not turn the package upside down! When transporting the package, please ensure that it is kept horizontal and stable.

DISPOSING OF THE PACKAGING

Please keep all packaging materials (cardboard, plastic tapes and Styrofoam), so that in case of a problem, the device can be sent back to the service centre in accurate condition!

GENERAL HINTS FOR THE USER

The appliance must be cleaned after unpacking and before its connection to the power supply network. Once the appliance has reached the set temperature, it can be filled. It is forbidden to fill the appliance with warm liquids and food and any food products put into the appliance should be covered. Food products and drinks should be stored in sealed airtight containers. To ensure adequate air circulation inside the appliance it is recommended to place products be in such a manner to maintain distance between them. If the door is opened too often, there is increased energy consumption, which could lead to possible damage. Maximum loading of a single shelf: 30 kg. Always close the door of the appliance when it is not in use. Do not use screwdrivers or other metal tools to remove ice layers that are formed on the walls of the appliance during its use. 3.3. Assembling the device

1. Close the appliance door.

The device will start refrigerating to the set temperature and will regularly run a defrost a few times a day depending on controller settings (usually every 4 hours).

DEFROSTING

AUTOMATIC DEFROST

The device shall require a defrost if internal ice build-up occurs. This may happen due to too frequent opening of the doors for long periods. The device automatically activates its auto defrost cycle every four hours. To manually activate defrost:

	The ambient temperature is too high.	Increase ventilation or move the appliance to a cooler position.
	Unsuitable foodstuffs are being stored in the appliance.	Remove any excessive hot foodstuffs or blockages to the fan.
	The appliance is over-loaded.	Reduce the amount of food stored in the appliance.
The appliance is unusually loud.	Loose nut/screw.	Check and tighten all nuts and screws.
	The appliance has not been installed in a level or stable position.	Check the installation position and change it if necessary.
The appliance is leaking water.	The appliance is not properly levelled.	Adjust the screw feet to level the appliance (if applicable).
	The discharge outlet is blocked. Clear the discharge outlet.
	The movement of water to the drain is obstructed.	Clear the floor of the appliance (if applicable).
	The water container is damaged.	Call your agent or qualified technician.
