- Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the product. Only use original parts and accessories.
- Do not continuously operate the product for too long to avoid overheating the motor. The continuous operation time must not exceed the processing guide given in the instruction manual. Let the product cool down if the product housing becomes too hot.

- Keep this instruction manual for future use. Should this product be passed on to a third party, then this instruction manual must be included.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, make sure that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
• Never use a damaged product!
Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet and contact your retailer if it is damaged. - To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well. Do not let the rotating blades touch the power cord.
- Lay out the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible.
- If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the product.
- Do not operate the product with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
- Do not open the product casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the casing.
- Do not place any objects on top of the product. Do not place objects with open flames, e.g. candles, on top of or beside the product. Do not place objects filled with water, e.g. cooking pots, on or near the product.

Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord around the product.

Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the product can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet to completely switch off the product. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.
- Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- If the power cord should overheat, stop using the product and disconnect the product from the electrical outlet.
- Do not place the product on hot plates (gas, electric, coal cooking range, etc.). Keep the product away from hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the product on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.
- Never leave the product unattended during use.
- Dry the product and all accessories before connecting it to the power supply.
- Important! Check to ensure that the product is in a serviceable condition before use. The product shall not be used if it shows any signs of damage or if it's suspected to be defect.

The product is exclusively intended to grind and shred coffee beans and herbs. This product is only suitable for private household use and it is not designed for commercial purpose. Every other type of use can lead to damage to the product or injury.

Before first use
Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.

Attention
• Always ensure the product is disconnected from the power supply before it is fully and correctly assembled!
- Danger of hand injury! Handle the blade with care as it is very sharp!
- Select a stable flat surface for processing.
• Never touch the blade of the product.

Operation
Fig 1 Select the jar depending on the intended use. The shredding jar is suitable for shredding herbs, e.g. parsley and the grinding jar is suitable for grinding, e.g. coffee.
Fig. 2 Connect the power plug to a suitable socket outlet.
Fig 3 Remove the lid and fill in your ingredients. Note the MAX marking (max. working capacity is 70 g). Put the lid back on. See the reference table for recommended weight and grinding times.
Fig. 4 Place the cup on the motor unit in the correct position, so that the noses fit in the notches and turn the cup clockwise until it is locked in place.
Fig. 5 Place the cover over the jar and press it down. The appliance is switched on and the content is ground. When you release the cover, the device switches off again.
Fig 6 When you have finished your work, remove the cover to switch off the device and pull the power plug.
Fig 7 Take off the cup by turning it anti-clockwise, remove the lid and pour out the processed food. Clean the device after each use. Please refer to the chapter on Cleaning and care.
Cleaning and care

Warning
- Before cleaning, always switch off the product and disconnect the plug from the power supply.
• Make sure that no moisture is entering the product during cleaning. - Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids.
- Be careful when you handle the blade. It has a very sharp cutting edge.
Fig. 8 Clean the cup and lid with washing-up liquid and rinse both under running water. Dry all parts. Make sure that all parts are dry before assembly. The assembling is done in reverse order. Follow the printed symbols.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp implements to clean your product.
• Dry the product thoroughly after cleaning. - Store the product in a cool, dry location, away from children and pets.

Troubleshooting
If there are any problems during operation, please refer to the following table. If problems cannot be solved as indicated under Solution, please contact your manufacturer.

The data in the following table is supposed to serve as reference. Since foodstuffs differ in terms of origin, consistency, weight and form, the results might vary. Repeat the process if necessary but consider the maximum continuous operating times.
