  • The power supply unit shall not be used, if pins of the plug part are damaged.
• Never expose rechargeable batteries to excessive heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never throw them into fire. The rechargeable batteries could explode.
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.
• When disposing of the product, please consult an electrician or your retailer to remove and dispose of the built-in batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.

Intended use

The product is suitable for trimming dry beard only. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries. This product is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for household use only.

The Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the product, or usage of the product which does not meet the manufacturer's specified purpose.

Before first time use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.

Note

• For first time use, charge the product for at least 3 hours. The general charging time is about 2 hours which also depends on the condition of the battery.
• When the battery is fully charged, the product can be used for 75-90 minutes. The time may vary (depending on the battery condition).

Preparation

Fig.1 Connect the USB C plug with the USB C charging socket, the USB A plug with the charger and the charger with a suitable socket outlet. The indicator LED lights red while charging and green when the battery is fully charged. Charge the battery for at least 3 hours before first use. Low battery warning: When the battery is less than 10% the indicator light keeps on flashing red.

Operation

Note Do not use the product with:

• Skin wounds
• Inflamed skin
• Sunburn
• Pimples and blisters
  The hair to be cut should be clean.

Trim/cut beard - with comb attachment

Fig. 2 Slide the comb attachment on the blade and ensure it is attached correctly.
Fig. 3 Set the desired cutting length by sliding the comb attachment. You can choose the lengths 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5.

Note

Depending on the position of the product and the resulting angle, cutting lengths may differ.

Trim/cut beard - without comb attachment

Fig. 6 Carefully slide the comb attachment upwards with the thumb and moderate force.

Fig. 7 Without the comb attachment the beard can be cut to an even length of 0.3 mm. Switch on the trimmer and hold the shaving head at the desired height of the beard.

Note

Please make sure to properly clean and oil the shaving head on a regular basis to avoid impairment of the shaving result.

Cleaning and care

Warning

When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).

Fig. 8 • After every use, please use a cleaning brush to thoroughly brush and blow out hair on the blades, attachment and the beard trimmer.
- Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
• Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch). Keep the product in a dry, cool location which is protected against moisture and direct sunlight. Keep this product out of the reach of children.

Cleaning the shaving head

Fig. 9 Switch off the product. Push the shaving head with your thumb until it is detached from the enclosure and take it off. Brush the shaving head and the product's interior with a cleaning brush.

Caution

Do not knock on the shaving head, this can damage it.

Note

You can rinse the shaving head under water. Then dry it with a soft cloth.

When the shaving head is clean and completely dry, place the shaving head onto the product. Ensure it's firmly attached.

Lubrication oil

Fig. 10 In order to improve the cutting length, apply 1-2 drops of the oil onto the shaving head. This is particularly recommended after cleaning. Wipe off excess oil with a cloth. Suitable acid free shaving head oil can be purchased from retailer.

If there are any problems during operation, please refer to the following table. If problems cannot be solved as indicated under Solution, please contact your manufacturer.
