This manual is intended to assist you in safe and reliable use. The product is designed and manufactured strictly according to technical specifications using the latest technology and components, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

2. Operating safety

The term “product” in the warnings and instructions refers to the BOAT COVER.

2.1. Workplace safety

a) If in doubt as to whether the product is working properly or found to be damaged, contact the manufacturer's technical service.
b) Only the manufacturer's technical service may repair the product. Do not attempt to repair the product on your own!
c) Keep this manual for future reference. If the product is to be handed over to a third party, hand it over with this user manual.
d) Keep packaging components and small installation parts out of the reach of children.

2.2. Personal safety

a) The product is not intended to be used by individuals (including children) with reduced mental, sensory or intellectual capacity or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by an individual responsible for their safety or have been given instructions by the responsible individual on how to operate the product.

2.3. Safe use of the product

a) Keep the product in good working order. The product shall be repaired and maintained by qualified personnel using original spare parts only. This will ensure safe operation of the product.
b) Clean the product regularly to prevent permanent deposits of dirt.
c) Never attempt to tamper with the product to change its parameters or structure.
d) Keep the product away from sources of fire and heat.

e) Caution: The product is intended for storage or mooring of craft. It is not intended to cover a boat carried on a road trailer.

f) If the boat is brand-new, do not use the product for the first four months of ownership of the boat. Some components and chemicals used in brand new boats may release gases and carry over the dyes and pigments from the boat cover to the boat, which could stain the craft and its parts.

g) Make sure that the boat cover is dry before folding it for storage, and that the boat is completely dry before putting the cover on it for a prolonged time.

3. Rules of use

The boat cover is intended to screen and protect open-deck boats left stationary for protection against weather, including rain, hail, and snow.

The user is responsible for any damage caused by non-intended use.

3.2. Preparations for use

INSTALLING THE PRODUCTS

1. Inspect the boat for all sharp, pointy features, edges and corners which could puncture or tear the cover. Cover them with pieces of a suitable padding material to protect the boat cover before putting it over the boat.
2. To prevent water from pooling in the depressions of the installed boat cover, it is recommended to install posts or other props on the boat before putting the cover on.
3. To cover the boat, locate the stitched label with the text Front and position the boat cover so that the label is at the boat's bow. Secure the front edge of the cover over the bow's tip.

4. Unfold and tug the boat cover towards the stern and make it evenly taut in all directions.

5. Fit the boat cover and lash it securely and taut to conform to the boat's shape.

6. When done, inspect the boat cover and make sure that all points against which it could chafe are properly secured. Look for depressions the boad cover where water could pool and eliminate them with props underneath.

3.3. Cleaning and maintenance

a) Use non-corrosive agents for cleaning the surfaces only.

b) After each cleaning, dry all components well before the product is used again.

c) Store the product in a dry and cool place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.

d) Regularly inspect the product for technical defects and damage.

e) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.

f) Do not clean with any sharp and/or metal implements (e.g. a wire brush or a metal scraper) as these may damage the surface of the product.

g) Do not clean the product with acidic substances, medical products, thinners, fuel, oil or other chemicals as they may damage it.

h) Spot clean with water. Do not use any soap, or the protective coating of the fabric can fail.

i) If wet, leave the boat cover to dry and keep it in the storage pouch when not in use.
