Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- This product is designed only for household use. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or if there are any visible signs of damage.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service for advice.
- Never use caustic or abrasive lubricants or cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
- Do not use any accessory that has not been recommended by Cecotec, as they might cause injuries or damage.
- Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable
substances, or wet surfaces where it could fall, nor allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids, lit matches, cigarette ends, hot ash, or on wet surfaces.
- Do not use on concrete, tarmac, or other rough surfaces.
- Remove anything thicker than a straw from inside the device, as it may block the vacuuming tube.
- Stop using the appliance if you notice an abnormal sound or sense a temperature higher than usual.
- Keep the air outlet unblocked to avoid losing suction power.
- Check the suction tube from time to time to make sure it is not blocked.
- Take special care when using the appliance near stairs.
- Do not block the appliance openings or airflow. Keep openings free of any objects, and do not block them with clothes or your fingers.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains supply when it is not going to be used for a long period of time, before cleaning or repairing, before attaching components, and before removing the battery.
- ATTENTION: This tube has electrical connections:
- Do not use it to vacuum water;
- Do not immerse it in water to clean it;
- The tube must be checked regularly and should not be used if damaged.
- WARNING: Your device has rotating parts which may cause a risk of entrapment. Exercise extreme caution.
- Pull from the plug, not the cable, to disconnect it from the outlet.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Battery instructions
- This device includes a lithium-ion battery.
- Do not burn or expose the battery to high temperatures, as it may explode.
- Leaks from the battery or cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
- Never modify the charger in any way.
- The battery must be removed for safe disposal.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.
- WARNING: To recharge the battery, use only the power supply included with the device, with reference ZD24W342060EU.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
- The battery supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
- If the device is stored for a long period of time, you should remove the battery.
- The battery must be inserted in the correct position.

2. BEFORE USE
- This upright vacuum cleaner includes a package designed to protect it during transport. Take the upright vacuum cleaner out of the box and remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box and other elements in a safe place, as this will help you prevent damage to the upright vacuum cleaner when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the official Cecotec Technical
Support Service.
- Fully charge the device before the first use.
- Remove the first-use tab installed in the filter.
- During the first 3 uses, it is recommended to charge the device for 12 hours between uses.
- The normal charge time is 6 hours approx. When the battery is fully charged, unplug it.

3. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
Assembling the suction tube and vacuum head
- To install the vacuum head on the suction tube, align both parts so that the tab on the vacuum head and the suction tube guides match, and insert the tube into the vacuum head until it clicks into place.
- To disassemble them, press the vacuum-head release button, and pull from the suction tube while you hold the vacuum head.
Note
When assembling these 2 parts, make sure the handle and the brush are facing the same direction.
Assembling the suction tube, vacuum head, and main body
To complete the vacuum cleaner's installation, once the vacuum head is mounted on the suction tube, hold the tube vertically and insert it into the main body.

- Insert the battery in the corresponding slot on the main body. Once inserted, it will click into place. Make sure it's secured in position.

- To remove the battery, press the release button and remove it.
Note
Remove the battery and store it in a safe, dry place if the appliance is not going to be used in a long period of time.
4. OPERATION
You can use this vacuum cleaner in two different manners:
- Handheld vacuum cleaner, attaching the accessories directly to the main body.
- Upright vacuum cleaner, using the suction tube with the accessories assembled.
Using the vacuum cleaner
- Press the power button to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.
- Press the speed knob repeatedly to select the appliance operating speed: LOW, MED, HIGH, and AUTO. The device will turn on in LOW mode by default.
- If AUTO mode is selected, the vacuum cleaner will automatically adjust the suction power based on dust concentration and surface type.
- When the battery shows a percentage equal to or less than 20 % while running at high speed, the vacuum cleaner will start running at medium speed automatically to extend the battery life.
Using the vacuuming brush head
- Press the power button to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.
- Press the speed dial to set the power level to: LOW, MED, HIGH, and AUTO.
- If you select the AUTO mode, the device will automatically adjust suction power according to the concentration of dust and the type of surface.
- When operating at high speed and a battery at 20% or lower, the device will automatically switch to medium speed in order to lengthen the battery life.
- The vacuuming brush head can remove dust from carpets, hard and soft floors, and tiles.
- If too many particles or fibres are vacuumed, or if a child touches the brush during operation by accident, the rotary brush stops spinning automatically in order to prevent tangles and possible damage.
Accessories
This appliance includes different accessories that allow cleaning different types of surfaces, objects, and dirt. Some of them are suitable for the upright vacuum cleaner, and others are preferably used with the handheld one.
Jaliscazo brush
To be used with the upright vacuum cleaner. This brush is especially designed for cleaning hard floors, but can be used to efficiently clean soft floors too.
2-in-1 narrow accessory for corners and furniture

This accessory is preferably used with the handheld vacuum cleaner and allows cleaning furniture without damaging it and reaching less accessible dirt in corners.
2-in-1 wide accessory for corners and furniture

This accessory is preferably used with the handheld vacuum cleaner and allows cleaning furniture without damaging it and reaching less accessible dirt in corners.
Long brush

Suitable for cleaning surfaces which are sensible to scratches such as furniture, wardrobes, etc.
Special brush for fabrics
Adjustable accessory to remove all types of dust trapped in fabrics.
Flexible vacuuming tube
Use the Flex tube to reach and vacuum dirt from the most inaccessible areas. Press the Flex button to bend the tube.
Extensible tube
Use the accessory with the handheld vacuum cleaner to reach and vacuum dirt from the most inaccessible zones. Moreover, you can connect the 2-in-1 narrow and wide accessories for furniture and corners and the long brush.
Wall charging base installation

Place the charging base on the wall and mark 3 spots to be drilled to fix the base. You must take into account the height of the installation; it is important that vacuuming brush head rests on the floor to avoid the charging base from holding all the vacuum cleaner's weight.

Drill the 3 holes (previously marked) and insert the pegs and M4 x 32 mm screws.
-
Make sure that the charging base is securely fixed on the wall and place the vacuum cleaner on the charging base by placing the vacuum cleaner's charging terminals over the charging base's charging terminals (plastic tab).

Once the wall charging base is installed, connect the power adapter to the charging port,

and then you can charge the vacuum cleaner by simply sliding it up and down the wall charging base. Fig. 11
Charge and display
- When the battery percentage is 20% or below, the device will automatically enter low consumption mode. It is recommended to charge the vacuum cleaner when it reaches this percentage.
- The battery must be charged with the charging base while it is connected to the main body. Connect one of the ends of the power adapter to the power supply and the other to the charging base. Fig. 9
- During charging, the charge light indicator will turn on red and the display will show the current charge percentage. When the device is fully charged, the battery indicator will turn green, and the display will show 100%. Fig. 10
- You can also charge the battery without using the charging base. You can charge the battery when the battery is installed or not in the vacuum cleaner. Connect the adapter, then connect the other end of the cable to the battery paying attention to connection direction. Once it is properly connected, the charge light indicator will turn on red and will turn green once the charge is complete. Fig. 11
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn the appliance off, unplug it from the power socket, and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, slightly dampened cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not allow liquids to enter the appliance.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
- Do not leave the vacuum cleaner in a place with direct sunlight.
- Do not leave the vacuum cleaner in a wet place after cleaning it.
- After the brush has been used for a long time, bristles might start to tangle with hair and other dirt. Clean the brush to ensure cleaning efficiency.
Cleaning the dirt tank and the filters
- To prevent the appliance from overheating and losing suction power, it is suggested to clean the filters frequently. To make the most of the suction power, it is suggested to clean the filter after every use.
- The filters' shelf life will depend on the accumulated use and the type of dirt that is frequently vacuumed. It is recommended to replace the filters every 6 months.

To remove the filters (Fig. 12):
-
Press the Dirt-tank opening button, marked with the word "CLEAN", and pull on the metallic handle to remove the filtering system.
- Once the filtering system is out, turn the metallic handle counterclockwise and you will be able to take the high efficiency filters out.
- Vacuum and shake the filters to remove every dirt that may block them and hinder correct air circulation. Remember not to use the vacuum cleaner without the filters properly assembled.
- Filters cannot be washed inside a washing machine nor dried with a hair dryer.
- Do not brush the high-efficiency filter.
- To empty the dirt tank, press the dirt tank lower cover opening button, open it, and empty it. Fig. 13

- Move the rotary-brush release button with one finger toward the arrow and remove the cover on the same side of the brush.
- Take one end of the brush out as shown on the image.
- It is important to clear and clean all the residues left in the brush's rotary axis.
- If you decide to wash the brush, all parts must be left to dry. Assemble the pieces back in order to use the brush again.
Removing the battery
Press the battery release button and remove the battery as shown in figure 15. Store the battery in a plastic bag and leave it in a dry place.
Storing the vacuum cleaner
If the robot is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery, and store it in a dry and safe place.
Maintenance indicator
The full tank icon or the clogged filter icon will be displayed if maintenance on the vacuum cleaner has not been properly and frequently carried out. Fig. 16
