B. Factory state

Lock nuts on the bottom of the washing machine Levelling feet fitted to the lock nuts

Note:

The levelling feet do not come fully fixed for easier installation, so be sure to fix all four before levelling the washing machine.

  1. When positioning the washing machine, you should check if the levelling feet are fully fixed; if not, fix them. The lock nuts must be firmly locked to the bottom of the appliance and the levelling feet securely locked into the lock nuts. Fig. 7
  2. Once the washing machine is installed, press on the opposite corners of the top with both hands in succession and shake the washing machine vertically downwards to check if the levelling feet are firmly fixed and that the washing machine does not wobble. Fig. 8
  3. If the washing machine wobbles, loosen the lock nut in the direction shown in Figure 9 with the spanner provided until the machine is level and no longer wobbles. Fig. 9
  4. Finally, use the spanner to fix the lock nut to the bottom of the washing machine (you can also fix the levelling feet lightly by hand to prevent them from moving). Make sure the levelling feet do not move. Fig. 10

WARNING

  1. The washing machine must be perfectly level and stabilised when all four feet are firmly on the floor.
  2. Incorrect levelling adjustment may cause loud noises, vibrations of the washing machine, shifting of the washing machine, and other abnormal occurrences.
  3. The air vent is located at the bottom of the washing machine (to avoid obstructions). Install the washing machine on a solid, smooth, non-slip floor. Do not place the washing machine on a soft carpet or wooden floor or on top of furniture, as this may cause unnecessary injury.

4. OPERATION

Installing the washing machine

  1. Remove adapter (A) from hose.
  2. Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to remove the 4 screws from the adapter.
  3. Hold the adapter and turn the part (C) clockwise to loosen it by approx. 5 mm (*).
  4. Insert the adapter into the tap and tighten the screws until they are secure.
  5. Turn the part (C) counterclockwise to fix it.
  6. While pulling down part (D) of the hose, connect it to the adapter. Then, release part (D) The hose should snap into the adapter with a 'click' sound.
  7. To complete the hose connection, see points 2 and 3 of the previous section (Connecting the water inlet hose to a threaded tap).
  8. Open the tap and check for water leaks. If they occur, repeat the process again.

Note:

Do not bend the hose.

- Check the inlet hose connection before every use.

Connecting the drain hose

  • The drain hose should be placed at a height of 65-100 cm above the ground, otherwise it may cause poor drainage. Fig. 13
  • You can use the supplied drain-hose bracket (depending on the model) to connect the drain hose to the wall, drain pipe, or sink. Fig. 14
  • Make sure that all hose connections are tight.

Note:

Do not immerse the end of the drain hose in water for the washing machine to work properly.

Electric connection

  • Since the maximum current flow is 10 A when the interior temperature of the washing machine increases, make sure that the power supply system (current: supply voltage, and cord) in your home can meet the normal load requirements of electrical appliances.
  • Connect the appliance to a properly installed and earthed outlet.
  • Make sure that the household supply voltage matches the rated voltage of the washing machine.
Make sure the power plug matches the socket.
  • Do not use multipurpose plugs, sockets, or extension cords.
  • Do not connect or disconnect the plug with wet hands.
  • When disconnecting the plug, hold it firmly and pull it out. Do not pull the power cord out abruptly.

Warning:

  1. The washing machine must be properly earthed. If a short circuit occurs, earthing can reduce the risk of electric shock.

  1. The washing machine must be operated on a circuit separate from other electrical appliances. Otherwise, the surge protector may trip, or the fuse may blow.

Washing machine operation

Please note

Make sure that the washing machine is properly installed before use.

Before first use, you should perform a complete washing cycle without laundry.

First use

  1. Connect the power cord and inlet hose as described in the previous section.

  2. Add some detergent (about 10 g) to the detergent drawer and close it.

  3. Press the power button.

  4. Turn the selection knob to the Cotton position.

  5. Press the Start/Pause button.

This will remove any water left in the washing machine from the manufacturer's test.

Sorting the laundry

Read these recommendations carefully to avoid problems with the washing machine and damage to your clothes.

  1. Do not exceed the maximum rated capacity.
  2. Sort clothes by colour and care label. Most garments have a textile care label on the collar or on a side seam.
  3. Make sure that all pockets are empty, as foreign objects (coins, paper clips, etc.) can damage the laundry and the washing machine components.
  4. Close zips, fasten hooks, etc. before washing.
  5. When washing clothes, it is advisable to sort them by colour. Under no circumstances should dark clothes be washed with light clothes.
  6. Heavily soiled areas, stains, etc. should be pre-treated with liquid detergent, stain remover, etc.
  7. Turn woollen garments that are easily balled up inside out before putting them in the washing machine.

Note:

Make sure that no clothes are jammed between the door and the seal.

Using the detergent drawer. Fig. 15

  • Open the detergent drawer.
  • Add main-wash detergent to the main-wash drawer compartment (compartment II). You can use either powder detergent or liquid detergent.
  • Add softener to the softener drawer compartment (compartment)

Caution:

  • Do not open the detergent drawer while the washing machine is in operation.
  • Use a detergent suitable for machine washing at different temperatures for best results and minimum water and energy consumption.
  • The needed detergent/softener amount should be added only once. Please refer to the detergent/softener manufacturer's instructions.
  • Too much detergent will produce a lot of foam, which can easily overflow, affecting the dissolution of detergent and making rinsing harder.
  • To avoid clogging of the compartment, concentrated or highly enriched agents (softener or detergent) can be diluted with water before application.
  • Do not add detergent powder in the softener compartment.
  • A detergent overload may produce too much foam, this way affecting washing efficiency.

Please note

  1. It is normal for some liquid detergent to fall into the drum when opening the detergent drawer. Avoid frequent opening of the detergent drawer to reduce liquid-detergent waste.
  2. The level must not exceed the MAX mark.
  3. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the amount to be dosed. An overload of softener can negatively affect the artificial fibres of the laundry.
  4. Dilute the concentrated softener or detergent first and then pour it into the detergent drawer.

Steps to follow to carry out a wash

  1. Press the Power button to switch on the washing machine.
  2. Turn the selection knob to select a washing programme.
  3. Adjust the washing programme settings (temperature, speed, etc.) to your needs.
  4. Use the Delayed Start feature if you want to finish the wash cycle at a specific time.

Warnings:

  • Check whether the water inside the drum has been drained before opening its door. Do not open the door if there is still water inside the machine.
  • Do not wash one garment only, as this could destabilise the washing machine. Always introduce at least 3 or 4 clothes so that draining can be done smoothly. For a better efficiency and water and energy save, we recommend filling two thirds of the drum with laundry.
The information given for programmes other than the ECO 40-60 programme are indicative only.
  • The eco 40-50 programme can clean normally soiled cotton clothes declared as washable at 40 °C or 60 °C, together in the same cycle. This programme is used to assess compliance with EU eco-design legislation.
  • The times indicated for each programme match the length with standard loads and temperatures. Other loads and temperatures will need different programme length.
  • The most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those that are carried out at lower temperatures and longer length.
  • Load the washing machine to the quantity estimated for each programme, this will help you save energy and water.

ENGLISHENGLISH

The length, and energy and water consumption of each programme may vary according to the weight and type of laundry, the additional functions active, water, and ambient temperature.
It is recommended the use of liquid detergent for washing programmes at low temperature. You can vary the quantity of detergent according to the quantity of laundry and its soiling level. Follow the detergent manufacturer recommendations for the quantity of detergent you must use.
Noise and remaining moisture level depend on the spin speed. The higher the spin speed, the higher the noise and the lower the residual moisture content.
