• Remove the batteries from the product if it is not being used for a long time.

• Do not move the device while in use.
• Do not exceed the weighing capacity of the device.
• Do not use the appliance if the baby is wet, to prevent it from slipping or slipping.
• Do not store the device in upright position.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The safety instructions marked at the beginning of this manual must be followed at all times when using this product.

Follow the instructions below in order to switch on the appliance:

1. Remove the product from its original packaging taking special care not to damage any of its parts. Do not use excessive force to remove the product from the box.
2. Remove the cover of the batteries on the back of the scale.
3. Place the batteries in the right place under the cover following the indicated polarity.
4. Put the cover back on.
5. Place the device on a hard, rigid, flat, stable horizontal surface free of vibration.
6. Prepare the apparatus according to the unit weight, kg/lb selecting the weight units kg/lb/st pressing the button on the back of the scale, marked with the word "UNIT"
7. Switch on the scale, wait until "0,00" is shown on the display and place the babygently on the surface of the scale.
8. If you want you can place a towel for a greater comfort for the baby. In the event that the scale shows the same weight after placing the towel, simply press the TARE button so that the scale goes back to "0.00"
9. Try to hold the baby still so that the weighing is as accurate as possible.
10. To save energy, the device goes into sleep mode after several seconds of inactivity.
11. Replace the unit in a safe and stable place.

This product has a maximum capacity of 20kg so you can weigh a child weighing less than that. Place the baby in the centre of the platform and avoid sudden movements, keep still and do not touch other objects, until the scale shows their weight.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

This product is for domestic use only and not for professional purposes.

Children must be supervised by an adult to prevent them using the appliance as a toy.

This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or psychological capacities, or who lack the necessary experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.

REPAIR:

Only specialized personnel should perform repairs to this electrical appliance. Any incorrectly performed repair may lead to considerable risk for the user. In the event of repair, please always contact our authorized technician. Failure to observe these instructions will lead to the total loss of the product warranty.

TROUBLESHOOTING: Possible operating anomalies

INCIDENT CAUSE SOLUTION

PRODUCT CLEANING

This product can only be cleaned by hand, using a soft damp cloth and mild soap. The use of abrasive cleaning products or brushes, solvents, benzine, thinner or alcohol is completely prohibited. Never immerse the appliance or any of its parts in water or excessively moisten it in order to clean it. Do not re-use the appliance until it is completely dry.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product complies with the European Directive 2012/19 / EU on electrical and electronic equipment, known as WEEE (Waste from electrical and electronic equipment), which establishes the legal framework applicable in the European Union for the disposal and recycling of electronic devices and electrical. Do not throw this product in the trash. Take it to the nearest electrical and electronic waste treatment center.

The product may have batteries. Remove them before disposing of the product and deposit them in the special containers authorized for this purpose.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

B&B TRENDS, SL. guarantees compliance of this product for the use for which it is intended for a period of two years. In the case of breakdown during the term of this warranty, users are entitled to repair or else the replacement of the product at no charge if the former is unavailable, unless one of these options proves impossible to fulfill or is disproportionate. In this case, you can then opt for a reduction in price or cancellation of the sale, which must be dealt with directly with the sales vendor. This also covers replacement of spare parts provided that the product has been used according to the recommendations specified in this manual for both cases, and has not been tampered with by any third party that is not authorised by B & B TRENDS, SL. The warranty will not cover any parts subject to wear and tear. This warranty does not affect your rights as a consumer in accordance with the provisions in Directive 1999/44/EC for member states of the European Union.

USE OF WARRANTY

Customers must contact a B&B TRENDS, SL., authorised Technical Service for repair of the product. Since any tampering of the same by anyone not authorised by B&B TRENDS, SL., or the careless or improper use of the same shall render this warranty null and void. The warranty must be fully completed and delivered along with the receipt or delivery docket for the effective exercise of rights under this warranty. This warranty should be retained by the user as well as the invoice, receipt or the delivery docket to facilitate the exercise of these rights. For technical service and after-sales care outside the Spanish territory, please submit your query to the point of sale where you purchased the item
