3. Functions

The Brandon pedestal fan has a powerful motor and 38.5cm rotor blades which ensure optimum ventilation even on hot days. Thanks to the three speed levels, adjustable angle of inclination and oscillation, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements.

5. Assembly

Take the fan out of the package and check the device as well as the scope of delivery mentioned in the table above. Please contact the supplier directly if any part is missing or has been damaged.

  1. To connect the base including the inner pipe (11) to the motor unit (8), first screw the pedestal (14,15) to the outer pipe.
  2. Take the pedestal weight (15), place the guard (14) on it, and connect the outer pipe (13) to the pedestal.
  3. Fix the outer pipe (13) to the pedestal (14,15) from below using the fastening screw (16,17).
  4. Connect the base unit to the motor unit (8,9).
  5. To do this, connect the inner pipe (11) to the guide of the fan control (9) and mount the inner pipe (11) using the adjusting screw (10).
  6. Now place the rear protective cage (6) on the fan unit. Make sure that the handle is facing up.
  7. Tighten the rear protective cage firmly using the locking nut (5).
  8. Then insert the rotor blade (4) onto the motor shaft (7) and fasten it using the appropriate mounting screw (3). Make sure that the individual components are properly mounted on the motor shaft (7) to avoid vibrations!
  9. Mount the protection cage ring (2) to the front protective cage (1) and connect it to the rear protection cage (6). The protection cage lock (19) is located at the bottom of the two cages.
  10. Fasten the lock (19) using the protection cage locking screw (18).

6. Usage

Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the device to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket.

By tipping the protective cage, you can change the angle of inclination according to your needs by up to 35^ .

Press the "Oscillation" button ( ) on the control unit or on the remote control to turn on the oscillation.

The fan has 3 different speed levels, which you can change using the "Speed level" buttons ( ) on the control unit or on the remote control.

6.2 Modes

Brandson 303368 - Modes - 2The night mode is like the natural mode and, starting from the selected start speed, it automatically switches between the levels. After about 30 minutes, the fan changes to the next lower speed level. Once it reaches the lowest level, it remains in this mode until the device is turned off by the sleep timer or manually.

6.3 Timer function

The fan has 15 different timer levels that can be set up to a maximum duration of 7.5 hours in 30-minute steps. For this purpose, press the "Timer" button on the remote control or the operating panel of the fan. The remaining time is indicated by the LEDs on the timer display. To increase the duration of the timer, press the button again.

Example: If you want to set a timer for 5.5 hours, press the "Timer" button till the LEDs "4" "1" and "0.5" start glowing. Added together, these indicate the remaining time of the timer.

6.5 Height adjustment

To adjust the height of the fan, first loosen the height adjustment nut (12) slightly. You can then adjust the height of the fan by holding the fan control (10) and slightly pushing the fan upwards. Once the desired height is reached, tighten the height adjustment nut (12) again.

7. Cleaning

Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process! Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). For cleaning, never immerse the device into water! This could lead to electric shock or fire!
