Important safety guidelines for this device

• Use the device for the private and intended purpose only. This product is not intended for commercial use. Do not use the device outdoors and keep it away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Please do not keep the fan in the immediate vicinity of water sources such as a bathtub, shower, washbasin or swimming pool.
• Do not use the product with wet hands.

• If the device becomes moist or wet, pull out the power plug immediately. Ensure your own safety and do not touch any conductive material on the device.

• Protect the device from moisture (under no circumstances should the device be immersed in liquid), sharp edges or large sources of dust.

• Do not keep the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources (e.g., ovens or heating system).
• Keep it on an suitable surface so that it does not tip over.
• Unplug the power plug when the device is not in use, during transport or during cleaning.
• Never keep the fan machine unattended; keep it out of reach of animals and children wherever you use or store it.
• Operate the device only with the voltage mentioned on the device label.
• This appliance can be operated by children from 8 years of age and above,

as well as by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or who lack knowledge or experience, if they have been supervised or instructed regarding safe use of the device, and understand the resultant dangers.

- Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Keep the device and its connection cable out of reach of children under 8 years.

- For the safety of your children, keep packaging parts out of their reach (plastic bag, foils, carton or polystyrene).

with the foil or plastic bags as there is a risk of suffocation!

• While operating the device, ensure that the protective cage is closed.
• The fan, rotational switch and switches should not be blocked!
• Ensure that the fan is disconnected from the power supply before removing the protective cage
• Never insert your body parts (e.g., fingers) or objects through the protective cage.
• Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protective cage as it may get caught in the air current.
• If the power cable of this device is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service or by an equally qualified person, so as to prevent any risk.

- Allow the device to cool down before cleaning it, or pull out the power plug from the socket.

- Wipe the device housing with a dampened cloth and then wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Never immerse the housing in water for cleaning.

3. Functions

The Brandon pedestal fan has a powerful motor and 38.5cm rotor blades which ensure optimum ventilation even on hot days. Thanks to the three speed levels, adjustable angle of inclination and oscillation, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements.

5. Assembly

Take the fan out of the package and check the device as well as the scope of delivery mentioned in the table above. Please contact the supplier directly if any part is missing or has been damaged.

1. To connect the base including the inner pipe (11) to the motor unit (8), first screw the pedestal (14,15) to the outer pipe.
2. Take the pedestal weight (15), place the guard (14) on it, and connect the outer pipe (13) to the pedestal.
3. Fix the outer pipe (13) to the pedestal (14,15) from below using the fastening screw (16,17).
4. Connect the base unit to the motor unit (8,9).
5. To do this, connect the inner pipe (11) to the guide of the fan control (9) and mount the inner pipe (11) using the adjusting screw (10).
6. Now place the rear protective cage (6) on the fan unit. Make sure that the handle is facing up.
7. Tighten the rear protective cage firmly using the locking nut (5).
8. Then insert the rotor blade (4) onto the motor shaft (7) and fasten it using the appropriate mounting screw (3). Make sure that the individual components are properly mounted on the motor shaft (7) to avoid vibrations!
9. Mount the protection cage ring (2) to the front protective cage (1) and connect it to the rear protection cage (6). The protection cage lock (19) is located at the bottom of the two cages.
10. Fasten the lock (19) using the protection cage locking screw (18).

6. Usage

Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the device to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket.

By tipping the protective cage, you can change the angle of inclination according to your needs by up to 35^ .

Press the "Oscillation" button ( ) on the control unit or on the remote control to turn on the oscillation.

The fan has 3 different speed levels, which you can change using the "Speed level" buttons ( ) on the control unit or on the remote control.

6.1 Button functions

6.2 Modes

Mode Function
	Constant speed at the adjusted level
	The night mode is like the natural mode and, starting from the selected start speed, it automatically switches between the levels. After about 30 minutes, the fan changes to the next lower speed level. Once it reaches the lowest level, it remains in this mode until the device is turned off by the sleep timer or manually.
	The device changes the speed at intervals depending on the selected starting speed, thereby producing pleasant and natural air circulation.

6.3 Timer function

The fan has 15 different timer levels that can be set up to a maximum duration of 7.5 hours in 30-minute steps. For this purpose, press the "Timer" button on the remote control or the operating panel of the fan. The remaining time is indicated by the LEDs on the timer display. To increase the duration of the timer, press the button again.

Example: If you want to set a timer for 5.5 hours, press the "Timer" button till the LEDs "4" "1" and "0.5" start glowing. Added together, these indicate the remaining time of the timer.

6.5 Height adjustment

To adjust the height of the fan, first loosen the height adjustment nut (12) slightly. You can then adjust the height of the fan by holding the fan control (10) and slightly pushing the fan upwards. Once the desired height is reached, tighten the height adjustment nut (12) again.

7. Cleaning

Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process! Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). For cleaning, never immerse the device into water! This could lead to electric shock or fire!

8. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The device does not carry current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thunderstorms.

The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore, please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please follow the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in this manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modifications to the appliance, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without prior notification.

9. Disposal instructions

In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collection points at the end of their service life.
