Note: Before using the floodlight, please carefully read the operating instructions and store them in a proper location!

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Before use, always check the floodlight and/or the power supply unit for any possible damage. Never use the floodlight or the power supply unit in case of any damage. If this is the case, please refer to an electrician or the manufacturer's service address.

Non-compliance poses a risk of fatal injury from electrical current!

1. Do not use the floodlight in explosive atmospheres with flammable liquids, gases or dusts. Risk of death!
2. Keep the floodlight away from children. Children are not aware of the risks imposed by electric current.
3. Only use the supplied power supply unit and cable to operate the device. Use of any other power supply unit can cause damage to the battery or an explosion!
4. To avoid dazzling or blinding, do not look directly into the light.
5. A destroyed protective cover cannot be replaced. The floodlight has to be disposed of.
6. During the charging process, the product is not IP54-compliant (dust-protected and protected against splashing water).

Not suitable for applications with external dimmers.

This LED floodlight is suitable for indoor and outdoor lighting purposes.

COMMISSIONING

SWITCHING THE FLOODLIGHT ON/OFF

Switch on the floodlight.

The floodlight is lit with 100 % light intensity,

By pressing several times, the light intensity is set to 100% – 50% – 25%, pressing once more switches the floodlight off.

The lower the brightness selected, the longer the floodlight will burn.

If the switch is left in any of its "on" positions for longer than 5 seconds, then pressing it once again will always turn it off.

BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR (B)

While the battery is charging, the red LED of the battery charge indicator (B) lights up.

When the battery is fully charged, the green LED of the battery charge indicator (B) is lit.

When the battery is almost empty, the spotlight flashes 5 times and the red LED of the battery charge indicator (B) flashes continuously. After this, the spotlight will continue to light up for approx. 10 minutes before the deep discharge protection switches off the light.

This leaves enough time to finish the work.

CHARGING THE BATTERY (C)

Charge your battery using the supplied power supply unit (E) only.

1. To ensure optimum function, we recommend fully discharging the battery on the first use and fully charging it afterwards.

2. The charging status of the battery is indicated by the battery status indicator (see description above).

3. If the device is not used for longer periods of time, charge the battery at regular intervals of approx. 3 months to ensure a long service life.

4. After charging, always close the charging port with the cover cap.

OPERATION

Upright: Place the light on a dry and level surface.

Hanging: Hang the light on a suitable pipe.

The floodlight can also be mounted on Brennenstuhl tripods either individually or in pairs. If two floodlights are mounted, you will – in some cases – need the CB 70 cross beam

CABLE WRAP

The cable can be wrapped around a groove in the light for transport and storage.

MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION! The LED lamp does not contain components that require maintenance. The light source in this lamp cannot be replaced; if the light source has reached the end of its service life, the entire lamp has to be replaced. The lamp may not be opened.

CLEANING

Before cleaning, disconnect the floodlight from the mains power.

Do not use solvents, caustic cleaning agents or similar products. Only use a dry or slightly moistened cloth for cleaning.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of electric appliances in an environmentally friendly manner! Electric appliances must not be disposed of in household waste!

The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment rules that used electric appliances should be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

For possibilities of disposal of the used appliance, please contact your local or municipal administration.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of in household waste!

As a consumer, you are legally obligated to dispose of all batteries and rechargeable batteries at a collection point in your municipality/your district or in a shop so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly manner, otherwise there are possible risks to the environment and human health.
