How to clean the detergent drawer?

Remove the detergent drawer by pressing the latch. Clean it under warm water with a brush. Reassemble in reverse order. Important: unplug the appliance before any intervention.

How to replace the door seal?

Unplug the appliance and shut off the water supply. Remove the top panel, detergent drawer, control panel, door, pump cover, and front panel. Remove the hose connections from the old seal. Install the new seal by tightening the tension ring to 3.4 Nm. Reassemble in reverse order.

What to do if the machine does not start?

Check that the appliance is plugged in and the water tap is open. Make sure the door is properly closed. If the problem persists, perform a safety test according to VDE 0701 or contact customer service.

How to change the control panel?

Unplug the appliance and close the water supply. Remove the top panel and detergent drawer. Unscrew the panel screws, remove the fasteners, disconnect the connector. Install the new panel following the reverse order. Caution: an electrotechnical test is required after replacement.

How to remove the top panel of the machine?

Unplug the appliance and shut off the water. Remove the screws at the back. Push the top panel backwards then lift it to remove.

How to change the drum light?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the top panel, detergent drawer, and control panel. Take out the drum light holder, disconnect the connections, and remove the light. Install the new one in reverse order, making sure not to pinch the cables.

How to clean the pump filter?

Open the pump cover at the bottom right. Unscrew the filter and remove any impurities. Clean with clean water and put back. Place a container to catch residual water.

How to change the door lock?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the top panel, detergent drawer, control panel, door, door seal, pump cover, and front panel. Disconnect the lock connector and remove it. Install the new one in the correct position to ensure emergency opening. Reassemble in reverse order. A safety test is recommended.

What are the safety instructions for repairs?

1.2 Explanation of symbols

1.2.1 Danger levels

The warning levels consist of a symbol and a signal word. The signal word indicates the severity of the danger.

Warning level Meaning

• Errors by repairs involving electrical components can lead to electrical shock!
  ■ Disconnect the appliance from the mains for at least 60 seconds before starting work.
  ■ After the repair have a safety test according VDE 0701 or country-specific regulations performed.

Required tools:

Torx Bit TX20 with hole Length 152 mm, usable length [00341272]

124 mm, 1/4" hexagon drive

(6.35 mm), for screws with safety pin

4.4 Replacing fascia panel

As a manufacturer, we are obliged to provide consumers with the spare part fascia panel including repair instructions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2023. However, we would like to point out that after replacing a fascia panel, an electrotechnical safety test by a qualified electrician is required before the device is put into operation. This person must be verifiably qualified according to the country-specific laws, regulations and standards.

4.9 Replacing door lock

As a manufacturer, we are obliged to provide consumers with the spare part door lock including repair instructions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2023. However, we would like to point out that after replacing a door lock, an electrotechnical safety test by a qualified electrician is required before the device is put into operation.
