Important safety guidelines for this appliance
- Use the appliance for private and intended purpose only. This product is not intended for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors and keep it away from heat as well as direct sunlight.

- Ensure that your hair is not within the range of the protective cage as it may get caught in the air current.
- If the power cable of this appliance is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, his after-sales service

- Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it, or disconnect the power plug from the socket.
- Wipe the appliance housing with a damp cloth and dry it afterwards with a clean dry cloth. Never immerse the housing in water to clean it.

3. Functions
The Brandon pedestal fan has an efficient DC motor and large 38.5 cm rotor blades which ensure optimum ventilation even on hot days. Thanks to the 9 speed levels, adjustable angle of inclination and oscillation function, you can adapt the fan to your individual requirements. Compared to conventional AC fans, up to 60% can be saved on energy costs with the DC motor fan with an identical air flow in ^3 . The input voltage of 220-240 V AC is converted to the DC required by the DC motor using an internal power adapter.

5. Assembly
Take the fan out of the package and check the appliance as well as the scope of delivery mentioned in the table above. Please contact the supplier if any part is missing or has been damaged.
- Place the rear protective cage (5) on the motor unit.
- Tighten the rear protective cage (5) firmly using the mounting screw (6).
- Place the rotor blade (4) on the motor unit and screw it firmly using the rotor mounting screw (3).
- Place the front protective cage (1) on the rear protective cage (5) and tighten it as previously shown in the picture.
- Fasten the protective cages (1 + 5) using the protective cage locking screw (2).
- Fix the extension rod (7) on the stand (8) optionally.
- Please insert the assembled motor unit on the extension rod (7) or on the connector on the stand (9) (depending on the preferred height).
- Please connect the power cable first to a properly installed socket.
- Make sure that the 2 projecting pins are inserted into the 2 concave holes of the base or the centre stand and fixed.
- To remove the individual elements again, a knob is provided at the respective fixing points to unlock the rod and then remove it.
6. Before use
Before using the fan, make sure it is placed on a dry and flat surface. Damage can be caused if the fan is placed on an inclined or sloping surface.
Before moving the appliance, please switch it off and unplug it from the mains.
Hold the stand with both hands and lift the appliance for transport.
Insert the plug directly into a commonly available AC socket and ensure that the plug is firmly inserted into the socket. Turn off the fan, before disconnecting the plug.
Never remove the plug by pulling the power cord from the socket! Unplug the power cord from the socket by holding the plug and disconnecting it from the socket. Do not disconnect the plug from the socket if the appliance is being used.
Do not use a power adapter that does not match the current / voltage specified on the type plate of this appliance. Disconnect the plug from the socket and store the appliance in a safe place when it is not being used.
7. Usage
Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the appliance to a properly installed 220-240V AC socket.
By tipping the protective cage, you can change the angle of inclination according to your needs by up to 30^ .
Press the "Oscillation" button ( ) on the control unit or on the remote control to turn on the oscillation.
The fan has 9 different speed levels, which you can select using the "Speed levels" control knob on the fan, or the speed level buttons ( + ) on the remote control.

7.3 Timer function
The fan comes with 4 different timer settings and can be adjusted between 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, and 8 hours. For this purpose, press the "Timer" button on the remote control or the operating panel of the fan. To increase the duration of the timer, press the button again.
7.4 Fan control
You can change between the 9 speed levels using the "+" and "-" buttons (6) on the remote control or the speed control knob (6) on the stand of the fan.
8. Remote control
The fan has a storage compartment for the remote control. This compartment is located on the side of the stand.

8.1 Changing the battery
The remote control has a battery compartment at the bottom. Open the battery compartment and remove the CR2025 battery. Ensure that the polarity of the contacts is correct when replacing the battery.
9. Switching the LEDs on and off
You can adjust the LED light of the control elements as required using the brightness button (5).
10. Modes
Press the "Mode" button to select between three different modes. The table below describes the respective modes:

11. Cleaning
Pull out the power plug from the socket before starting the cleaning process! Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning (wetted with water). Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. This could lead to electric shock or fire!
12. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Please do not try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modifications by yourself. Avoid contact with the mains supply. The appliance does not carry current only when disconnected. Please do not short-circuit the product. Do not forget to disconnect the power cord when the appliance is not being used or during thunderstorms.
The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore, please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures. Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for any damages before using it. The appliance should not be used if it has been subject to impact or has been damaged in some other way. Please follow the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described in this manual. This product is not a toy.
Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repairs or modifications to the appliance not carried out by the original supplier will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without any special prior notification.
13. Disposal instructions
In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic appliances should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment. According to the Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic appliances to the manufacturer, the point of sale or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol displayed on the product, in the user manual or/and on the packaging refers to these regulations. With this manner of sorting, recycling and disposal of used appliances, you make an important contribution towards protecting our environment.
14. Instructions for battery disposal
In conjunction with the sale of batteries along with the supply of appliance that include batteries, the supplier is obliged to point out the following to the customer:
The customer is legally obliged to return used batteries. The customer can return used batteries which the supplier offers or has offered as new batteries in his assortment free of charge to the supplier's dispatch warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries indicate the following: Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by weight, Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by weight, Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by weight.

The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery should not be disposed of in household waste.
