USER MANUAL Rush Xblitz
Thank you for choosing the Xblitz Rush. The device you have purchased is a breathalyser with an electrochemical sensor, used to measure the alcohol content of exhaled air. Before using the device, please read the instructions below.
CAUTION: Do not allow yourself or anyone else to drive after drinking alcohol.
PRECAUTIONS
- Do not drop the device or shake it violently.
- Test results may be inaccurate when battery capacity is low.
- To ensure the accuracy of the measurement, perform the test 15 minutes after drinking alcohol.
- If the device has been left unused for a long time, the first measurement taken may be inaccurate.
- If you want to perform multiple tests, wait at least 1 minute between tests.
- Do not blow tobacco smoke, liquids or pieces of food into the device. This can permanently damage the sensor and lead to an incorrect measurement.
- If the device is dirty, use a gentle material to wipe it down. Do not use caustic cleaners or wire or hard cleaning utensils, they may damage the housing.
- The correlation between breath alcohol content and blood alcohol concentration depends on a number of variables, including environmental factors (such as wind, humidity, temperature, etc.) as well as the health of the person being tested.
-
The measurement results from this device do not constitute evidence in legal terms and cannot be used in court. The driver bears full responsibility for driving under the influence of alcohol.
-
The result of a test can vary depending on many factors. Getting a given test result one time does not mean that the result will be the same even a few minutes later.
- Do not allow yourself or anyone else to drive after consuming alcohol. Always use a taxi or other vehicle driven by a sober person when you or someone else has consumed alcohol.
- Under normal use, the device needs to be recalibrated approximately every 6 months or after 1000 tests performed. For accurate measurement results, contact your device distributor or service centre and ask them to recalibrate the device's sensor.

- Preparation for measurement and measurement
a. Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the device. Place 2 AAA 1.5V batteries inside. Make sure the battery terminals are facing the correct way. Place the battery box cover back in place.
b. Place a clean mouthpiece in the device. If you are not sure where and how to place the mouthpiece, see the device diagram in the DEVICE DESCRIPTION section.
c. Press and hold the PATCH button in FIG.C2 until you hear a short beep to switch the unit on. The unit's display will turn on, indicate the number of remaining measurements before the necessary calibration and illuminate the mouthpiece opening alternately in red, green and blue. It will then display a 5-second countdown to warm up the device's sensor.
NOTE: Do not blow into the mouthpiece until the countdown is complete. Premature use of the device may lead to an incorrect measurement of the breath alcohol content.
d. When the screen displays "BLOW" and you hear a beep, take a deep breath and blow continuously into the mouthpiece, which will light up if a measurement is being taken. Blow until you hear a beep coming from the device. After a few seconds, the measure
ment result will be displayed on the screen.
NOTE: If the air flow is too low or is interrupted during blowing, the display will show "rP" and display "BLOW" and "ERROR". Wait a few seconds before measuring again.
e. If the measurement result is below the alarm threshold, the mouthpiece will illuminate green. If the measurement result is above the alarm threshold, the LED will illuminate red and an alarm signal will sound from the device.
f. Press FIG.C2 to switch off the result display and start the next measurement.
g. In the event of prolonged inactivity, the breathalyser will automatically switch off to save battery power.
h. If you want to manually switch off the device, hold down the button for 3 seconds.
NOTE: If the test is repeated multiple times, replace the mouthpiece with a new one every 10 measurements or clean the mouthpiece of any water/saliva build-up. The presence of water/saliva in the mouthpiece can cause measurement errors.
2. Viewing stored measurements
With the unit switched on, press and hold the WATCH button in FIG. C1 to view the history of measurements taken. The first record that appears on the screen is the last measurement taken. The device can store up to 99 recently taken measurements. Use the buttons to browse through the measurements. Press the PATCH FIG.C1 button to check the previous measurement or press the PATCH FIG.C2 button to check the next measurement.
3. Function settings
a. Enter setup mode:
With the unit switched on, press both the PATCH FIGURE C.1 and FIGURE C2 buttons simultaneously to enter the setting mode.
b. Unit change:
In setting mode, press the FIGURE C.1 button to change the flashing digit, then the FIGURE C.2 button to confirm the selection. Enter 1111 to change the unit of measurement (default - %oBAC). Use the PATCH FIG. C.1 and FIG. C2 buttons to select your preferred unit. Once selected, press and hold the PATCH FIG. C.2 button to confirm the selection or the PATCH FIG. C.1 button to exit the setting without saving the changes.

The guarantee is only valid if the unit is regularly serviced and calibrated at an authorised service centre. At least once a year. The device has been correctly calibrated since new. Every breathalyser offered on the market requires periodic calibration, i.e. every 1,000 measurements, while at least every 12 months (every 6 months is recommended) the device must be reconfigured so that it correctly interprets the amount of alcohol in the
air exhaled. The need for recalibration is not a defect in the device and is not subject to warranty. A device that is not regularly calibrated will show erroneous results.
