How to fill the water tank?

Make sure the iron is unplugged and cold. Remove the tank by turning it clockwise, open the silicone cap, pour water up to the maximum level (360 ml). Close the cap and screw the tank back on.

How to activate the steam function?

Plug in the iron, press the power button (8) and wait until the indicator light (5) stops blinking. Then press the steam button (7) to release steam. Make sure the tank contains enough water.

What to do if the iron does not heat up?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and the power button (8) is pressed. The indicator light (5) should blink then turn off. If nothing happens, the iron may be defective. Contact an authorized service center.

How to dry iron?

Turn the steam control knob (3) to the "0" position. This stops steam output. You can still use the water spray if necessary.

What type of water to use?

It is highly recommended to use demineralized water to avoid limescale buildup which is not covered by the warranty. Do not use chemicals, vinegar or descaling agents.

How to clean the iron?

Always unplug the iron and wait for it to cool completely. Clean the exterior parts with a damp cloth. Never immerse the iron in water and do not use abrasive products.

How to store the iron after use?

Unplug the iron, empty the water tank, let the soleplate cool completely, wrap the power cord and place the iron in vertical position on its base.

Why is steam not coming out?

Check that the tank contains enough water. If the indicator light (5) is still blinking, wait until the soleplate reaches the required temperature. If the problem persists, the iron may be scaled. Use demineralized water.

Is the iron leaking water?

If water leaks from the soleplate, make sure the silicone cap of the tank is properly closed. Do not fill beyond the maximum level. In case of continuous leakage, the iron may be damaged; stop using it and contact an authorized center.

Can I use the iron with an extension cord?

Yes, but only use an extension cord that complies with safety standards. Do not exceed the maximum power indicated on the extension cord. Unplug the iron when not in use.

The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.

Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof.

If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or

electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor.

Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug from the mains when the device is not in use. Always disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended.

Cleaning operations should be carried out after unplugging the unit.

GENERAL INFORMATION

At first use, remove the protective film of the plate; due to the presence of a protective oil and residues left over from the film, the plate could emit some smoke. After few uses, the smoke will disappear.

When using the product the first time, repeatedly use steam (away from clothes) and try to use the iron on a worthless piece of cloth to remove any manufacturing residues that may stain or scratch the fabric.

When not in use, the iron must be stored upright.

Do not wrap the power cord around the iron, either before or after use.

Keep the power cord free from knots and tangles.

Do not use the ironing system as a heating unit.

Always unplug before you fill or empty the tank.

Do not fill the tank above the maximum capacity and do not introduce into the tank mixtures for removing stain, vinegar, descaling agents or chemicals in general.

The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.

When placing the iron on its iron stand, make sure that the surface is stable. The iron should not be used if dropped, when there are visible signs of damage, or if it loses water during operations.

CAUTION: the iron plate gets very hot during use, be careful not to touch it, serious risk of burns.

Do not put your face near the steam coming out the iron plate.

FILLING THE TANK

The filling operation must be performed only when the plate has been cooled down and after having unplugged the unit from the electrical outlet. We recommend the use of demineralized water to prevent excessive fouling (not covered by warranty).

1) Extract the water tank (3) rotating clockwise.
2) Open the silicon lid and enter the water up to the maximum level (360ml).
3) Close the lid and mount the tank to the main housing.

FUNCTION

Place the iron vertically. Plug the device to the electrical outlet.

Press the ON/OFF button (8). The function light (5) flashes to show that the iron plate is warming up. Wait until light stops flashing to start ironing and steaming.

STEAM IRONING Before using the steam check that the water contained in the tank is enough. Steam emission has to be activated with the button (7).

DRY IRONING To perform dry ironing, switch on the iron, but do not press button (7). In this way the steam emission is disabled.

CLEANING Before cleaning any part of the product, ensure that the unit is unplugged from the electrical outlet and the ironing plate isn't hot anymore.

Any leftovers on the ironing plate can be removed with a damp cloth or with a non-abrasive detergents. Do not scrape the ironing plate with iron sponge or metal objects. The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and neutral detergent, then wiped with a dry cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.

BEFORE STORING

• Unplug the system from the outlet.
  • Empty the water tank: detach tank, open silicon lid and turn the tank upside down on a sink.
• Allow the plate to cool down completely.
• Wrap the power cord in the back of the body. Leave the electric iron vertically.
