How to connect the HDMI splitter?

Turn off all devices. Connect the power supply to the splitter (Power port). Connect your HDMI source to the input, then both displays to outputs 1 and 2. Plug the power supply into the mains, then turn on the devices.

What is the maximum supported resolution?

The splitter supports a maximum resolution of UHD (2160p) at 30 Hz. It automatically adapts to the lowest resolution of the two connected displays.

Can I use HDMI cables longer than 5 meters?

For UHD resolutions, it is not recommended to exceed a total cable length (input + output) of 5 meters, otherwise image quality may be lost.

How to set the maximum resolution on a specific display?

The maximum resolution is set by the HDMI 2 output. Connect the display with the lower resolution to this output. After disconnection, the splitter uses the settings from output 2.

Does the splitter work with all HDMI devices?

Yes, the splitter is compatible with most HDMI sources (Blu-ray player, console, PC) and displays (TV, monitor, projector). It automatically detects resolutions.

Is it possible to connect a 4K display and a Full HD display at the same time?

Yes, but both displays will show the lowest resolution (Full HD). To enjoy 4K, both displays must support UHD.

Is the power supply mandatory?

Yes, the splitter requires the included power supply (5 V ⎓ 1 A) to operate. Plug it into a properly wired mains outlet.

What to do in case of display problems?

Check that all cables are properly connected and that the power supply is plugged in. Try swapping HDMI cables or connecting the displays one at a time. Restart the devices.

3. Properties

With this HDMI splitter you can transmit the signal of an HDMI player to two display devices (TV, monitor, projector) simultaneously. The splitter detects the maximum resolutions of the display devices automatically. The HDMI splitter adjusts to the device with the lowest value.

4. Getting started

Take out the HDMI splitter and the power supply from the packaging. Connect the power supply to the corresponding port on the splitter labeled „Power".

Turn off all devices you want to connect and link them to the splitter by using a suitable HDMI cable. The various HDMI ports of the splitter are explained in the table below:

Now plug the power supply of the HDMI splitter into a properly installed grounded socket and turn on the devices connected by the HDMI cable. The splitter is now ready for use.

Note: Please note that the maximum resolution is determined at HDMI output 2. To do this, connect the device with the lower resolution to output 2.

After disconnecting the power, the splitter takes over the maximum settings of the HDMI output 2. To ensure correct performance, we recommend to connect the device with the lower configuration options (resolution) to the HDMI output 2.

Note: Please note that for UHD resolutions a maximum cable length of 5m should not be exceeded, otherwise the image quality may be affected (HDMI input + HDMI output = total length).
